Just wonderful Mexican food a cut above all the others in town. A fun happening place with lots of noise, but filled with happy people. We will come here the next time we are in town. Well worth it. The Seafood chile relleno alone would be an excellent reason to return. Checkout there menu. Great bar too!!
We visit South of Nick's often. This time, not so good: 1. Waited half an hour past our reservation time as the people before us would not leave (the staff tried to nudge them, but they can only do so much) 2. Under staffed for a holiday evening. The men's room had soap or some slippery substance on the floor. Our waiter was juggling several tables. Other people with reservations also were waiting past their reservation times. 3. One of our meals was way over cooked?...
We loved this restaurant. The ambience is great and the service is fabulous. The drinks are good and the wine pour is very nice. Encourages that second glass of wine. My taco salad was way too spicy for me because I am a light weight. I know you wonder my I eat mexican but there are lots of flavors I like that are not hot! Grant was our waiter and was just perfect. My dining companion chose the steak salad. Wasn't a morsel left on that plate. The manager Ryan politely removed...
