If you're looking for the perfect place for a special occasion with great food, drinks, atmosphere and excellent service the staff and our waiter were great. It sits on the cliff over the ocean the view is amazing. I can't wait to go there again

Always once at this prestigious, icon of restaurant. The New York strip steak with the coffee rub is beyond description. I've been coming here for my anniversary since the montage opened. When they bring back the tapioca rolls, I'm going to personally sing Pavarotti at the table.

Wow, what a fabulous restaurant located within the Montage Laguna Beach. We dined on the outdoor deck at the Loft. The views, food, and service were all amazing. We couldn't recommend this establishment highly enough. It's a great special occasion type place to visit.

We were greeted by a cordial hostess, seated outside on the terrace overlooking the pool. Our server was helpful with my specilized dietary issues/requests. The king prawns were incredible. Everything was perfect.

The restaurant was spectacular. We had a very loud young lady at the table next to us however. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she immediately moved us to a table that was not in the line of "chatter". The food was great and views amazing.

Our server was Robert. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He made the night special. The food was outstanding as always. Since it was Valentine's Day and our Anniversary, it would have been nice to have a better table. We were seated near the staff door and staff kept walking behind us and through us so it made us uncomfortable. Too bad.

We were there on Valentines Day and we were disappointed that we were seated, just inside the door by the host stand, although we realized that someone had to be. We went with the Valentine's Day special menu, and the selection was very limited. We were not excited at the price for the value that we received. The two dessert options were both odd, and we didn't care for them. We would have much preferred a chocolate option, such as flourless, chocolate cake, on Valentine's Day. The grapefruit option was very weird. Lastly, our food arrived cold. Having said that, the service was absolutely wonderful. Our server, and the Sommelier were spot on.

Great views to dine to. The flavors of the Egg Benedict were truly unique and I would come back just for that reason too. The complementary sweet bread they give you is also well made. I highly recommend going here for food before heading to Treasure Island Park!

We were expecting more from such a high restaurant. Oysters were minuscule, food seasoning was off, the pork chop was tasteless, really nothing to write home about. But the service was exceptional.
We had the soup of the day (very bland), risotto, salmon (fishy), and branzino (not flaky, served on a bed of bland squash purée reminiscent of baby food). The server mistook our eating the fish (hunger and expense) for liking the dishes. The Montage is a beautifully sited resort, so go for lunch outside for the view and skip dinner.

The New York strip is their signature item and it was really good! The best thing about the restaurant is the location and the amazing views. The staff is friendly and helpful. Love this place!!!!!

Roger was an excellent server. He was informative and made great recommendations. We were a little disappointed that we were seated in the area of the restaurant that felt like the chairs were more banquet style than reminiscent of a high end restaurant in a 5 star resort. The food we had from the Caesar salad to sharing the filet and pasta bolognese were both big plentiful portions. I would recommend this restaurant and server just not the location of our table. It was busy and quite loud that night. We were seated next to a very lively group so it was hard to hear ourselves chat.

We had dinner at the Loft on a recent Friday evening, and were very impressed overall. The dining room is a good distance from the main lobby, so the ambiance is quiet and romantic. The food and service were outstanding; the staff were very friendly and professional.
Excellent services from the hostess Rylee to both of our waiters. The food was fabulous and all three desserts have unique flavor while without being too sweet. And because of that, we had a great evening celebrating my wife's birthday!
