This review is for the seasonal afternoon tea service. We made reservations a few weeks in advance and showed up on a Sunday in December to celebrate our anniversary. The afternoon tea is in the lobby bar area. First impression was that it's casual and there was no host stand where you get greeted so you kind of have to chase down one of the servers which is a little awkward. I thought that I had experienced hospitality prior to my stay at the Montage and my drinks at the Lobby Lounge. I was mistaken. I have felt more loved and at home at the Montage, and Lobby Lounge, than I have in my entire life. The staff here is the absolute best in the world, bar none. The level at which this staff operates is truly a blessing to be able to behold. The place is beautiful and the lounge is comfortable and inviting. We sat at the bar and our bartender (Isabel) made the most fantastic Martinis I think we have ever had. Very enjoyable evening with the piano music and atmosphere. They comp't our parking and the Valet had kept my vintage Corvette up by the entrance and it was waiting at the door when we walked out. We were made to feel very special.
