Very good coffee, lovely staff, I stop by every time I’m in the area.

We absolutely love Mameya for our coffee and espresso needs. The best thing is how they prepare your coffee fresh - you choose the beans, choose the roast, and they handle the rest. This leads to a very reliable and consistent experience every time. It's insane the overall variety of beans and roasts they have, you'll be impressed!
Another major positive is their exceptional customer service. They provide great recommendations on how to prepare your coffee properly, and they're incredibly kind, especially to kids. They always give my son a sticker and chat with him, and even complimented his Anpanman shirt!
I highly recommend Mameya, especially to anyone who enjoys fresh, high-quality coffee and a personalized, friendly experience.
For the best experience, I recommend calling ahead for beans to be roasted. Alternatively, you can wait and enjoy a cup of coffee while they roast. Or enjoy the ambiance and study/work there for a bit, they have WiFi!

Amazing. I stop in every week or 2 and everything is always perfect! Pour overs are great and its one of the only places around that not only sells geisha beans but roasts on site too. I bought the geisha for my dad who is a coffee nerd and he confirmed they are in fact the best beans he has used for at home pour overs.

Their team is also top notch! You can tell they care about their craft and do everything with excellence. A++

Fantastic local coffee roaster (by way of Japan). Prices are on par with 3rd wave coffee being sold across the street at Whole Foods. That being said, the ability to customize your roast preference is a game changer! The folks there are super sweet, friendly and always take their time carefully brewing and roasting the beans. You can tell they care about the quality that coffee drinks are receiving. They also get small snacks from Brio Brio which is an excellent bakery in Lake Forest.

We live out of state and ALWAYS make sure we stop in for coffee! The service, coffee and vibe is consistently awesome. Take some beans to grind at home to keep the Mameya feels going!

Great coffee place. Smells amazing in there. Their prices are lower than most chain stores! Highly recommend checking them out!

For reference, I usually don’t like coffee and generally prefer tea as a drink. That being said, I come here semi-often for roasted beans as gifts for other people, and the service is A+++ immaculate every time. I’m not knowledgeable about coffee beans but the workers will gladly answer any of your questions about the myriad of beans they have on display. They’ll also roast the beans for you, which will take about ~10 minutes or so.

I’ve also had one of their iced coffees and I loved the taste (though caffeine makes me hyper so I usually don’t drink anything with it that much). Highly highly recommend!!!

The service here is always fantastic and being able to order a coffee and custom roast coffee beans including single source beans to dial in your preference is such great experience.

One of the best coffee shops in SoCal. To note: there's nothing but coffee here, not that I'm mad at it but something to consider for non-coffee drinkers.

We came late yet never felt like a burden - they were welcoming and happy to explain about the different beans while customizing to my preferences. Also so nice to our 15-month old kiddo. Full points on service. The shop has a great atmosphere both inside and out, and it's very clean. Could see myself coming here to work. And then the coffee - excellent brew of exceptional beans. Their pastries were great as well and filling despite being small in portion. So, if you are a coffee person, this is THE shop to make a trip for.

I recently visited Mameya and ordered their famous coffee, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee enveloped me. The attention to detail in their roasting process, inspired by Japanese precision, is reflected in the exceptional flavor of their coffee.

They have a wide variety of beans from different countries, allowing you to customize your experience according to your preferences. The ability to choose the roast, grind, and size of your order is a great bonus. I loved how each cup is a true masterpiece, carefully crafted with tradition and innovation.

Additionally, the access to the shop is very easy, with plenty of parking available. I would definitely recommend Maméya to any coffee lover looking for a unique and delicious experience. You can't miss it!
