Out on date night and the wife found this little restaurant on IG that caught our eye on the pasta flight. Nestled in Laguna Niguel, the Italian restaurant is a cute little spot for a date night. We tried to find the flight on the menu, but it wasnât as clear on the menu to look at. Nevertheless, we fought our hunger addled brains and were able to find our pastas that hit our hearts content. I ordered the basil babe and the wife got the veggie power which both were stellar. I will definitely be saving this place for a follow up.

Pretty delicious Mediterranean food with fresh ingredients. Can't beat that. I loved the mango lemonade and strawberry lemonade my boyfriend got. It was perfectly sweeten, which is code for not that sweet whatsoever. However the restroom could use some improvement.

After seeing this place on Instagram, I thought, âHey, letâs try it.â When we got there it looked like theyâd taken over an old Baskin-Robbins or something similar. They have âThe Big Cheeseâ right at the counter, which is a nice draw, but overall it felt like they werenât sure what kind of restaurant they wanted to be. One minute it seemed like a Cava-style concept, then Mediterranean, but with Italian food mixed in.
It gave off âsurvival modeâ vibes â like theyâve been through some financial struggles trying to find their identity. There were ripped-off sticker marks on the walls and a big TV looping a rehearsed beach scene with Ibiza-style music.
The food itself was just average. Prices were on the high side, and for what we spent ($60 for two of us, plus a 50-minute drive) you could easily go to a real Italian spot instead. No free refills on drinks, and when I asked for truffle oil on the side, it was literally three drops â very penny-pinching. No one was wearing hairnets, and a lot of the ingredients, like the chicken, seemed pre-made.
If you live in the area it might be convenient since things close early, but itâs not worth traveling for. We wonât be going back â not because it was terrible, but because it was just plain average for the cost.

The food is good and relatively healthy. Service is friendly and fast. Plenty of vegetarian options.
Update 9/10/25: Good food, but today I paid $9 for 4 small falafels and a thimble of hummus. A little over priced for a side.

Not what I expected. Pasta was dry and plain. Drinks were self serving as well as condiments and napkins. The plates⌠were plastic and so were the forks!!! On top of everything, the pasta that was on TikTok for $10 supposedly with one topping included is a lie . Since you have to pay extra for Parmesan, extra for pesto, extra for chicken, extra for pepper flakesâŚseriously!!!
We are positively not going back!!!

Ordered the 14$ Zesty bowl. Stingy quantity of food for that price, and average quality at best. Iâd recommend going elsewhere

Fun casual dining experience with pasta that is fresh and flavorful. Loved watching the pasta go into the cheese wheel. Order at the counter and they bring to your table. Food came out quick and was hot and delicious. Many choices of pasta entrees to choose from with the base being fettuccine with Alfredo. Noodles were light and good portions. They have many other Mediterranean items, bowls and salads but only tried the pasta this time.

Skinny chicken wrap was well seasoned. Staff was friendly and food came out very fast. I'm thankful that a gluten-free wrap is an option. Will be back!
