Great service and food💗 There are many alcohol menus and food items that other restaurants do not have, and the restaurant is not too big, so you can enjoy a relaxing, calm and stylish time. There is plenty of space for parking, and I would definitely go back‼︎

Shocked to find such an outstanding Japanese place in the Valley. Almost don’t want the word to get out especially given the cozy set up and space but I love this place dearly and want the best for ethe establishment so I can come back. Omakase will not disappoint along with countless other dishes you can choose from. Truly a gem

A hidden paradise for sake lovers.
I've been going her for years and still marvel at the tremendous flavors of the menu and impeccable collection of internationally renowned sake, with all the vibes of the most comfortable neighborhood spot. A true local gem that will feel like home after just a single visit.
If you have yet to visit, make it a priority to get a reservation. Take advantage of Chiaki's bottomless sake knowledge and trust fully in Jun's incredible culinary skills and you will not be disappointed.

This is a great Japanese tapas/izakaya spot in the valley. Everything was delicious, particularly the sushi and sake. The ambiance is amazing since it’s limited seating, creating an intimate vibe. It’s best to make reservations and parties are limited to four, so this is a great date night spot. Parking is free and abundant.

The artistry, quality and exquisite flavors of Jun’s sushi and tapas are unmatched (and I’ve eaten sushi around the world). A night spent in this warm, intimate atmosphere is like taking a mini vacation that you will want to take again and again.

Vibes: this place is so nice!! All the staff were so friendly and sweet. The bartender was singing along to the awesome jazz that was playing. I was searching for good vibes like this and I found it! We made a reservation so getting our table was also nice and easy. It’s a small place so definitely reserve if you can.
Food: we mainly came for drinks but we tried the salmon and Brie cheese dish. Other reviews were raving about it and I love brie so I had to try it. It was very interesting and tasted good! It also had olives which was nice.
Drinks: the cocktails here are so good. My boyfriend loved the pico colada (sweet and citrusy, not much like a piña colada but really yummy) and he got mad at me because I kept trying to steal sips. He also got the okinawan breeze and it was sour but good. I got the green lady (green tea + plum sake which I think might be my favorite (refreshing and sweet but not overly) but I also ended up loving the magic hour because yuzu is so good. The sunset ballad tasted like dark chocolate with orange which I liked as well.
Definitely coming back here for the drinks and to try more of the food. When I make more money I def wanna try the omakase here!

The food! I live in NY and have to say, this off beat exquisit inconspicuous little gem can’t be found there. No hype, great atmosphere, creative authentic food. I’ll be back!
The food was amazing
Fantastic!
I've been following Jun, the owner, for over twenty years now, and I’m so happy to see them settle into their new spot at White Oak and Sherman Way. It's super convenient, especially with the Korean market right next door.
There are so many sushi places in Los Angeles, but what sets Bar Uerukamu apart is their amazing appetizers and creative drinks. It’s a great spot even for friends who don’t drink straight shochu or aren't big on sushi. Their appetizers are truly unique—not your typical fried gyoza or teriyaki chicken. You can tell there's originality and thought put into the menu. Also all the stuffs are very friendly, sweet and attentive!!
