Met up with high school friends for a mini 30 year reunion here. I like that the menu is a simple, front and back paper menu. I had the Loco Moco (in Spanish, Crazy Booger, so perhaps a name change is in order). Good, but small on the portion size for the price tag. Burger Patty somewhat over seasoned. The cinnamon roll was decent, but a gloopy mess. Better presentation will make it less Cinna-Bon and more upscale OC brunch dining. Essentially, make it the ol' "You get what you pay for" adage. The server took my plate without asking if I was finished, and even though only maybe two bites left, it ticked me off. Server was quite nice, so it was most likely mistake on an off day, but for some reason, it really ticked me off and it soured the end of our brunch. Wish the noise can be controlled, but the interior design won't make that possible. I suppose that's to be expected during a busy Sunday morning, so not a huge deal. Perhaps sells insulation in the near future?

One of, if not the best places in South OC. Great drinks, amazing food with lots of variety, and the service is always top notch. Such a great spot for any occasion. The atmosphere fits a date night, after work drinks, brunch with friends and the list goes on and on.

We were given a gift card to Bru Grill and were very excited to try a new eatery. We came here for a late lunch early dinner and were very hungry! We sat in the bar area at one of the high tables and were told it was also happy hour ! Yay! We opted for a happy hour appetizer crispy fried green beans served with an aioli sauce. They were delicious ! For our entrees we ordered the scallops served on a carrot purée and succotash and the roast beef dip with a Caesar salad. Both were very tasty! My husband said it was the best beef dip he ever had. I had a bite and I agree it was delish! We really enjoyed our first experience here and will definitely return to try some of their other food options.

Have come here many times for date night and the food never disappoints! Friendly service and even a friendly owner who stopped by to offer me a speciality mock-tail since I was pregnant!

Super happy I stumbled upon this place. Great service and all the food we got was really good. Great selection of beer and cocktails. Oh and the chairs were very comfy which is rare these days at restaurants. The owner came and said hi to my dog, and she was a sweetheart. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

My sons and their friends love this place and when I visited, they took me. The food is incredibly tasty and inventive in presentation. The service is impeccable! Very attentive wait staff and management. Ambiance...it feels like home! I can't wait to go back.

We had fish tacos. Good and spicy. A little too spicy for one of us.

Service was decent and most of the food was good. The risotto was bland and the rice was overcooked. Fish tacos and pretzel ended up being the highlights.

I sat alone in the bar area to watch the jazz brunch, and was one of the first people in there. My server was very kind! The atmosphere was cool and fun, though very chaotic. People next to me were moving "reserved" signs on the table and pretending like they didn't see them. Which the hosts let happen, so I thought that was a little weird. I got hot tea as my drink, and they bring out a whole tray with a pot and a cup and some lemons, etc. It was very cute! She asked if I wanted sugar or honey, and I said honey. When she brought it out she brought sugar instead Which was fine, so I just let it go since she was busy. However, I was charged on the bill for the honey. I've never had to pay extra for honey before, so that seemed odd. And also a bummer since I didn't get it but was still charged. The real unfortunate part was that I ordered avocado toast, which I assume is the quickest thing on the menu to put together. After about 20 minutes, the server let me know it would be out soon. Then another 20 minutes goes by and she came to let me know that she didn't know why it took so long, that the chef was personally getting it together for me now, and then made it seem like they'd take it off the bill (I don't remember the exact wording, but I believe she said "we're taking it off"). So, I got my avocado toast finally after a little over 40 minutes, and they still put it on the bill. I will say, though, the avocado toast was incredible. Overall, the tastes were great and the people were kind-but the service wasn't anything special, a long wait for food, overcharged, and chaotic. Fun party atmosphere, though! I'll still be back. Mistakes happen I guess

Had a lot of appetizers that tasted really good. Really nice environment to hang out with a group of friends.

Great appetizers! Stopped in for some drinks and grabbed some food. We ordered the steak tips- cooked to perfection. Had spicy sausage which came with a side of honey to dip it in. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. That was my favorite. For dessert we had the s'mores ganache. Definitely something I would order again.
