It’s a nice place to get a salad if you walk in but not if you Uber it. I got an awesome salad when I ordered for take out in the shop however when I later ordered the exact same thing. (But more expensive) for delivery I got something quite different. So yes 5 star salad for in shop but 1 star for delivery.

Corner Bakery is one of those remaining coffee places that sticks to its legacy. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, applies in the hospitality business more so than anywhere else. The place is nothing fancy but always reliably solid, chill atmosphere, and staffed by nice folks. Been coming to various locations with the family for decades. In the Lake Forrest location special shoutout to Jason for his exceptional service and kindness.

It had been years since I visited this location of "Corner Bakery" as in the olden days I ordered a chicken pesto sandwich. It was just average, nothing soecial!
I had them replace potato chips with baby carrots at no extra charge just like I did in the past.
