My girlfriend and I went yesterday. Staff was nice, but the lady at the cash register was eating ice cream, which would be fine, but she then went into the kitchen to eat it while preparing our food. Then with the same gloves used to eat her ice cream handled our food. A different guy who prepared the other half our food used gloves, so he was alright.
Simply the best fried chicken sandwich in OC. Nashville-style is the only way to go. Crimson Coward is our guilty pleasure!

It’s taken me a week to write this review. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t writing out of emotions but based on logic.
I’ve been to LA to the OG Crimson. When we moved to SoCal, I was so excited to see that Crimson had expanded and had a location close to home. Much to my disappointment, the portions have gotten much smaller from what I remembered.
A few years ago I couldn’t even get my sandwich in my mouth the chicken was so huge. Now, I get a much thinner piece of chicken. The sandwich was still good but I expect more fries. Another reviewer, Katrina, wrote she got a large portion of fries. We unfortunately did not, we ate every single one and were small people, not huge eaters.
For the $60+ we paid for 3 of us to eat I need more to justify the cost, unfortunately this was a miss for me and it hurts me to say so.

The food is over priced, the wait was long, and it was definitely not worth it. The price point did not match the quality of the food. Maybe it was an off day. I don't know. We ordered chicken strip boxes that weren't that good. We also ordered a blooming onion that still had all the skin on it. Really wanted to like this place and I really didn't. The cashier spent the majority of the time on a computer doing school work and there was only one person preparing the food.

I have been there as a customer for more than a year now.I and my whole family is a crimson fan , I being a vegetarian, they tweak various recipes to help me with choices and they serve non GMO, no antibiotics chicken , harmone free which is safe for my teen.The best part is the smiling face of the whole family while serving you.I highly recommended this restaurant to anyone who is fond of good quality food.

If you’re craving chicken sandwich or tenders and want to try something new besides Cane’s, I recommend Crimson Coward! Especially if you love spice, they have a good scale to choose from. Both orders we got were mild and it was a good kick without losing flavor. The crispiness was great, the tenders were big and the fries were well-seasoned too.
Their pricing sits more closely to restaurant-style rather than fast food, so be prepared to pay more than you might expect. Our two combo orders was $38 something, so about $20 per person. For the portion, it was acceptable since it comes with a drink and a hefty amount of fries. I think next time I would skip the combo and share one order of fries with someone. It would also be interesting to try out other items on the menu, like the loaded fries or burrito.
My biggest complaint was customer service. It wasn’t busy for a Saturday afternoon (5:10pm-5:45pm), we were the only ones dining in with this heat wave and a few takeout orders came by. The employee at the register had appalling manners. Hardly acknowledged us, sitting on a rolling office chair behind the counter, wired earphones and on a call the entire time and even propped on a mini tripod she never let go of. As she took our order, she didn’t bother pausing the call but took the phone with her and only when I looked at her ready to order did she stop talking to acknowledge me. It was still with her when she delivered our food to our table. Her voice and laughter was louder than the music and kitchen prep, like she was in her living room rather than at work. It was really unprofessional and disruptive. I’m not looking for compensation, but it’s an issue I hope gets addressed for other customers. The one star can go to the two employees in the kitchen who handed me our missing sauce from our order.
Overall great location, so easy access for good food in the neighborhood. Worth a try, but we’ll see if it becomes a regular stop for dining out.

Got the The Crimson sandwich (Hot) with fries & a Dr. Pepper. Yummy! The sandwich is kinda big, chicken was crispy & juicy, lots of sour & tangy flavors, tasted good with their sauce. Fries were good, just wish they were more crispy. My son got the tenders (Medium) & he liked them. It's located in a big plaza, with plenty of parking. Many tables & bar seating inside & a table outside too, they have a restroom. Staff was ok. Prices are fair

If I didn't give 5 star for the The size of chicken tenders is kind of small to the price . Overall the price is little bit high... Nevertheless their sides are good too ? I can't resist.
