First-time client here,I went in for lunch and got two pieces with two sides.I opted for the frijoles charros and rice, I was asked for I wanted homemade salsa, pickled onions, and pickled carrots. The beans and rice were not warm enough to be served. However, they were edible. Everything had good flavor and will definitely come back to give it another try. The girl at the front had a good attitude. The atmosphere was a chill one.Parking: Good luck finding parking in the middle of the day as there are more restaurants in this little plaza it's full. There is a side parking lot, so plan ahead.

Went here based on the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The only thing I would say is that the chicken didn't seem like it was freshly grilled, but maybe reheated. We did go when it wasn't super busy yet, so maybe that's why. Ordered the carne asada burrito - the meat had a good grilled flavor to it. Only downside is the amount of rice to meat - personally wish there was more meat than rice. Again, the chicken was pretty good, and overall, it tasted more authentic, like a meal you'd enjoy in Mexico. Even the white meat wasn't dried out, and that's a hard thing to find these days! If you're in the mood for some good chicken, check this place out! Service was great as well!

We ordered food Togo from here all the time, but we are extremely disappointed with the food this time. We called to order 1lb of birrias Togo as usual only to find out we got the crumbs like this and they are not even a lb.

Love this place. The family pack #1 will feed an army. Our family eats twice off of this. Delicious flavors on the pollo and we love the charros. Green salsa is bomb and red salsa is caliente!!!

Wish the dinning area was bigger because it gets packed. The food is great!ove their beans and the chicken soup is fresh and delicious. Everything I've had here so far is on point. I just wish the dinning room was bigger.

I was recommended to go there by a friend. There were some people sitting down and a few people in line so I figured it must be good. I was really craving Juan Pollo but I didn’t feel like driving to Santa Ana. The first thing I noticed was the prices seemed a little high. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was good. When I got home and opened my eight piece combo that cost $30.the chicken was really dry. Flavor was good just really dry. The refried beans were just a cup of salt!! my wife took one bite and couldn’t take another. The potato salad was OK but it seemed really bottled. It did not taste homemade . The potatoes were kinda rubbery.

Soft, tender juicy chicken right off the grill. The wait was a little long for fast food, but the quality and price (as well as friendly service!) makes up for it.

Stopped for a meeting nearby and they recommended this place. OMG!!! It was over-the-top delicious. If you like el pollo loco this place will make you change favorites. Better spices and all the best authentic sides.

The health department needs to pay them a visit. I usually eat here 2-4 times a month. But not sure if I will be returning after what I just saw. Overall, the place is clean. But the smell of bleach is sometimes so strong, it's nauseating. They need to open the door so we can breathe!! Use the fly fan at the door people! The women tending the counter don't alway wash their hands after touching money. And last week I was there, I notice one of them picking at her eye. She has something in her eye and kept trying to pick it with her bare finger. She then proceeded to touch the little empty salsa cups with that same hand. She was filling each one after the had touched them with her dirty finger. How absolutely disgusting and inconsiderate for people eating there. She would also take her filthy cell phone and scroll through it, put it back in her pocket and continues to work. Like, we all know phones are filthy! EMPLOYEES: Wash your hands regularly and stay off your phones until your break!

The food here is like el pollo loco's more mediocre cousin who was created specifically for patients with high blood pressure and allergic to flavor & served at the hospital cafeteria. So extremely bland, literally no flavor. It actually makes me feel sad for the people who rated this place so high because clearly they lost their tastebuds or grew up eating extremely flavorless food because aint no way this place gets a 5. Aint. No. Way.The only thing that was a 5 was the service (hence the 2 stars - if it was food alone it would be negative 5). The cashier was super friendly & had a great attitude. But good grief the food was so bland and one level below "meh". Even the Spanish rice was terrible. How do you mess up rice? The only thing that was good-ish were the flour tortillas that helped make the boring uninspired food go down. We threw half of the food away. If you're going to get fast food chicken, you're better off just sticking to el pollo loco. At least there the chicken has a bit more flavor.
