A hidden gem of Vietnamese cuisine in the town! The Vietnamese coffee tasted very authentic! The garlic noodles with filet mignon was a must try! The service was fantastic! Will go back to try the other food. Highly recommended even it’s a small restaurant with compact space!

You should notice your client if you are close not according to the schedule . At least put a sign on google that will be really helpful. When we arrived nobody is there and the door is lock, we have to change the schedule and rush out to select another restaurant.

Ordered the shrimp and grilled pork spring rolls and the beef fried rice. Overall taste was actually good. The ingredients in the spring rolls were fresh and well balanced, not cheap on anything. The beef was tender with lots of garlic flavor. The only thing is a bit of investment in the facility would improve the dinning experience. I would definitely come back in the future.

Amazing, delicious, high quality food for reasonable prices! I didn’t know I was a fan of Vietnamese food until I tried Fam’s Kitchen! I ordered the shaken beef fried rice with salad and a mango smoothie. The filet mignon was tender, cooked in an extremely delicious sauce and was only $18! My family also ordered the house special vermicelli noodles that included chicken egg roll, shrimp, pork, and chicken as well as an ice blended coconut coffee. Everything that we ordered was incredible, served in large quantities and the service was excellent! If you are ever in Lake Forest, I would highly recommend eating at Fam’s Kitchen as it’s a great hidden gem that I will definitely be adding into my restaurant rotation!

My roommates and I discovered this place when we decided not to wait an hour to get the weekday special at BJ’s. We wanted someplace inexpensive and delicious and this place fit the bill! We are so thankful we ended up here! The food is phenomenal. In fact, it is beyond phenomenal considering the incredible value and quantity of food we got. The servers were so kind and took good care of us. I am so incredibly satisfied! We will definitely be back!

The food here is AMAZING 🤩 I took my husband, to try the lomo Saltado for the first time and he was weary because in his culture it’s a delicacy and he’s never found a place that made it better but my GOSH it was THE BEST we ever had!
I also got the fam combo with fillet mignon and it’s just incredibly flavorful. It’s a smaller restaurant but the food is authentic and the service is amazing . Peter is the chef and he cook so well!

I’m Vietnamese with a mom who is an incredible cook so I have high expectations for Vietnamese food. And Fam’s was delicious and delightful in every way. The menu has expanded a lot since the last year and everything I ate was delicious.
We had lomo saltado with fried rice, shrimp and pork summer roll which was perfectly made with a yummy dipping sauce, a roast pork banh mi and Thai ice tea. The meal was so good. The service was friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to come back and try all the other dishes.
Big thanks to this family run small business for bringing excellent Vietnamese food to South OC. This will be my go-to for Vietnamese food from now on 🥳
