Sheuing Shui Restaurant is hands down one of the best spots for fish noodles in all of Orange County! Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite during a busy workday or enjoying a relaxed meal with family, this place has become my go-to. The flavors are consistently fresh, the portions are generous, and the quality never disappoints. A true hidden gem that always hits the spot!
Great foods. Ordered Wonton bone soup and fried rice, it’s was delicious and authentic Asian foods. Love it thank you staffs
I love this place. I always order their signature Fish Rice Noodle Soup. It has fish, clams, tofu, fish balls, and vegetables in there. The broth has a umami that's really tasty. Best for cold weather days. They have a lot of options on their menu to choose from even if you're not a fish rice noodle person. The restaurant is clean and bright. Highly recommended if you're looking for a Chinese food place in Lake Forest area.
Tasty fish soup noodle, salted egg and Chinese sausage fried rice always great。

I recently visited Sheung Shui Fish and Rice Noodle in Lake Forest, and it was a disappointing experience.
First, the service was almost nonexistent. The staff barely interacted with customers, but there’s still an expectation for generous tipping, which felt unreasonable given the lack of attention.
The soup tasted strange, almost like it was made with spoiled fish, making it hard to enjoy. I’ve had similar dishes elsewhere, but this one missed the mark completely.
Additionally, I ordered the double beef option but received what seemed like a single portion. Despite paying extra, the serving didn’t match what I expected.
Overall, poor service, odd-tasting food, and underwhelming portions make this a place I wouldn't recommend.

Our favorite fish noodle soup place. Taste like ramen broth. Friendly & attentive owner. Good constant quality every time come back.

Very affordable and the food tasted decent! Though the name "Sheung-shui" made it sound like a eatery from Hong Kong, it's actually Chinese Hu-nan style.

We got there shortly after they opened for dinner. We sat down and a waitress told us to scan the QR code for the menu. She will take the order for us because their ordering system was down for upgrade. She asked us to self serve on the water, plates and other stuff.
We ordered the noodle soup and fried noodle. Food was ok but fried noodle was too oily.
Initially we thought we might want to come back to try different dishes but after we visited Siam station in Irvine, we knew we won’t come back to sheung shu anymore.
Since it was not much of ‘service’ per se, it was very difficult to justify to give any tips. But I still gave the 10% even thought I though they did not deserve it.

Good soup noodles, service not much to speak of. Scan code to order and pay. Almost no human interaction.
