The plates look dirty, the cups look dirty, in the bathroom looks like it has never been cleaned! It was filthy and I didn't like the food I will never come here again.

I ordered a grilled shrimp which cost me around 21 dollars. However, they only gave me 8 pieces of shrimp. I told the boss that I have been to this restaurant more than 10 times. And it never happened to me before. Surprisingly, they said they will give a discount next time I come. I was very disappointed and would never come again.

Came here midweek and it was pretty quiet inside the restaurant, but a lot of pickup orders were being made throughout our dinner. Ordered the grilled pork chop and the Grilled Beef Short Ribs. Both were very good, but I would definitely order the pork chops again due to it being on the bone, and serving size. The short ribs were already taken off the bone, and didn't seem to offer as much protein as the chops. Also ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls, which were just ok, I don't think I'd order them again. Overall, I'd give this place a solid 4, for flavor and price point. Service was a little rough around the edges, but, nothing we couldn't get over.

food was on point (party tray), the sauce wasn't overpowering. pick up service was very attentive. Our guests loved the food and freshness! that's all that matter!

My daughter told me about this place and the shrimp spring roll on point. The yellow chicken curry not what I’m used to. It had a distinct flavor that I couldn’t figure out, like fermentation…. Should have ordered the pho!

We ordered 2 large pho, fried rice, and egg rolls. Everything tasted good. They gave a lot of meats unlike some restaurants that give little meats with lots of noodles. The service was very good, only one waitress but she worked fast, very friendly, and got everything correct. Their restaurant is very big so we always got seated without having to wait.

Thanh Binh Cuisine is one of our go-to local spots for Vietnamese cuisine. We've visited a few times and it has not been busy, but they appear to do a higher volume of take out orders. Their menu includes everything from appetizers, banh mi, pho and bun to rice plates. Pho is always great on a cold day and I love that they don't skimp on their vermicelli noodles. So yummy after adding bean sprouts, basil leaves, cilantro, lime juice and hot sauce! Their Grilled Pork Chop Rice dish is also a solid choice. Service is friendly and attentive. I recommend Thanh Binh if you're ever near El Toro Road, the main drag in Lake Forest, and are craving Vietnamese fare!

I came to Thanh Binh a couple weeks ago. I ordered a large one meat pho soup, which I believe was #21. The owner said this is the kids one and that he will order me 23 which shows 4 meats and only give me one meat. I told him 21 is not a kids pho, it's just one meat. He kept going back and forth trying to up charge me. Then afterwards he says ok 21 medium and just walked off. I had originally asked for a large. The soup came and all seemed to be well. Although, I was taking pictures of the soup and I think he didn't like that. I was almost done eating and I had about 3/4 of my water left. I received the bill and paid. Then the owner told me he is an employee and apologized for the menu mistake, I assume in an effort to get me not to write a bad review. I just nodded my head. Afterwards, the owner walked directly to me with a pitcher and filled my cup which didn't need to be filled. I took a big gulp and noticed this metallic/ chemical taste, afterwards I still had this bad taste in my mouth and my stomach felt uneasy. I will never go back to this business.

The place is very clean. The ambiance is a bit unusual because they have two large screen TVs playing two different music video channels at the same time. The two different songs playing at the same time is VERY distracting. One tv has a rapper and the other a Chinese lady singing. They owner was a bit harsh with his attitude. The tea is very good. I ordered the oxtail soup.the doup was delicious. I also ordered fried chicken wings. They were yummy. They are served with a lemon sauce, which I didn't think went well with the chicken. They have many spicy sauces to choose from. I wish the owner was nicer and then I can give them five stars.

Absolutely love Thanh Binh! Had a great experience here recently - believe they are under new ownership for maybe less a year now so I was excited to try it! I love simple no frills Vietnamese restaurants and the pricing here is extremely reasonable. As mentioned not to be mistaken for other one down the street as I don't think they're related//CONTEXT//I wanted a simple pho bowl that wasn't too far from us. And while I do enjoy my bougie pho for $16 at some places I will not list, sometimes I just want a good bowl of pho for less than $13 (I know it's like a $3 difference but it adds up!). This place is located next to my aunts nail shop and she took my here once and I loved their veggie spring rolls so much I had to come back!//ENVIRONMENT//Simple Vietnamese store! Nothing fancy. I think this used to be an Indian store years ago! Clean and sit down//FOOD//* Pho Tai/Rare Steak - if you love meat they give you plenty! Fresh toppings! The broth has a more beef heavy/tone to it I can't explain and was very tasty!* Salt and pepper pork chops - so good! I didn't realize this was served at Vietnamese places and see it at Chinese places and it was salty and flavorful and packed a punch - just the way we like it!//PRICE//I think the price is really reasonable and cheap and you get a lot//OVERALL//I will be back!

Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had service wise. Waiter was so aggressive and rude from the start despite there being only one other table at the restaurant. It was completely uncalled for; he was upset with us from the moment we walked in. This was not a cultural thing where he was just blunt and no frills, he was actively rude and aggressive. We ordered an appetizer but ordering was such a hostile experience we decided that we it would just be best to leave. Food is completely unmemorable because we were cramming it down our mouths so we could leave faster. We went down the street to Thanh Binh 2 and had a great meal there.
