Wow, they've definitely upped their game since the last time I ate there which was right after an ownership change months ago. Perhaps even last year. I had the senior burrito meal with rice and beans for $13.50 I chose shredded beef. YUMMO! I was offered chips and salsa (Great) and they brought me a sample bowl (complimentary) of their homemade cream of carrots soup. YUMMO! Apparently they make several different soups on different days all from scratch. The service was great,...
The asada was like beef jerky. I got the asada fries and every single piece of asada was either rubbery, un-chewable fat or hard, overcooked, dry, un-chewable meat. The salsa for chips and salsa was very bland. But the fries were good, shrimp ceviche, margarita, and service were all good. Was it worth almost $100 for 3 people? No
I love there chile verde burritos. Carne asada tacos are the best also. Going to try chile releno next trip down there! New owners since last time I was there years ago was to salty so tried them last night just ordered 2 more chile verde burritos. Thanks to all the staff and owners for great food. See you soon
