“We stopped in for a quick breakfast this morning, and I had the avocado, bacon and cheese omelette. It’s the best omelette I’ve had in a really really long time was cooked to perfection overly stuffed. I had to bring most of it home. Service was wonderful. Food was wonderful. Definitely will be back.”

“Newest chicken fried steak review for this place was years ago, time for an update! Glad to say it's still great! The portion was very generous, the breading was crispy, and it's real genuine steak. This feels like a hand breaded steak, properly deep fried. The gravy complimented it well and wasn't too salty or overpowering. Home fries were excellent, as was the biscuit and gravy that came with it. Bonus points for being flexible with that - you can get toast, biscuit & gravy, or pancake as your side!

Service was friendly and attentive, never ran out of drink. They went around pretty regularly offering more coffee, which was reasonably priced. All in all, a great experience and I'm glad I stopped. I just wish I was up here more often for breakfast!”

“My normal go to for pizza. Today, not so much. Called at 11:00ish, ordered as usual. Was happy to hear it would be here within the hour. I don’t mind waiting as long as I know what’s up. So, around 12:10, I called to check. Guy said he left 10-15 ago. Around 12:30, he shows up. Pizza is ice cold. Tossed it in the trash. I mentioned what I was told when I called, he got angry called his company liars & me an asshole. Asked me not to order anymore. I agreed, as the pizza marginal at best. Pizza Barn is 10000% better.”

“Its really good but the other day me an my mom went there to grab a snake. I got one of thoes chicken Sandwichs witj the pickels on it..it was the worst sandwichs i have ever had..the sause they put on it did not help it one bit..”

“I wanna give a shout out. The best sandwich I ever had at this subway sandwich at this location. I love this subway inside and out is also a liquor store also, there's a Wiener sitsel.

“I’m not sure why everyone is having a hard time with this location. The baristas have always been friendly and my orders are correct.

My only issue is that they STILL don’t have order ahead available, so there’s often a long, unnecessary line which makes customers agitated and baristas get flustered. ATTENTION MANAGEMENT: It’s 2025… I think it’s time to add order ahead.”

“I stopped by the Taco Bell this past Monday (4/27/26) around 9:00 PM, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any Taco Bell.

The service was outstanding—friendly, fast, and you could tell the team actually cared about doing things right, even later in the evening.

What really stood out was the food. Everything looked exactly like it does on the menu—clean, well-prepared, and not thrown together. That’s rare for fast food, especially at night.

Huge shoutout to the crew working that shift—you guys absolutely nailed it. We live in Bakersfield but I can guarantee that anytime we drive through Lake Isabella (which is more often than not) we will definitely be making a stop there. We will 100% definitely be back.

Again big shout out to management and crew. Even bigger shout out to corporate for allowing such a great team to work their magic…

“The reviews were right, idk where they find the bartenders but they're wonderful. Kimber was ours, she was polite and super insightful to local news or something like that. She let us know about the power outage and told us to check out the hot springs. She also helped us out with food. They serve burgers 🍔 there now. They smelled amazing and tasted just as good. For reals people stop in & check it out.”

“First time here , the food was delicious very authentic. The server was the owner who has been there since 1991 , we had a nice conversation. The place was very nice with the view of the mountains and they have seating outside. Lake Isabella is a very peaceful town and beautiful views.
