“Absolutely Astonishing Cheeseburger. Straight up "WOW". Double Old Fashioned with Grilled Onion & Shrooms. I should have bought another for later.. Yes. Yes, please.”
“I love this spot! Just about every dish is cooked to perfection, and when you order extra cheese, you actually get extra cheese! Very home like atmosphere and lively service!”
“If, like me, you have spent your life seeing the american 'diner' depicted as hollywood does and thought 'I want to try that some day' then Neldas Diner is for you. It has everything you are looking for even down to the pie options on the dessert menu!!Lake Isabella is a nice town too, again, like what you see in the movies!”
“I was in Kernville a couple of weeks ago & purchased a bag of your Mexican Chiapas coffee suggested by the fine folks at the Big Blue Bear. Your coffee is amazing & we are headed back to Kernville next month & I plan to buy several bags!”
“Breakfast is always good. Don't try the western burger, yuk. It was more of a western burger salad. I hate that we have to put lettuce on everything. But my fault for not asking, requesting, IK IK.”

“Excellent donuts and flavor… you cannot go wrong! I would highly recommend the ham and cheese croissants as they are some of the best we have ever had. The owners work very hard and offer high quality products to our community.”
“Met Jeff the owner. Super cool guy and nailed the brisket and chicken! Food was very good. Help was awesome. Came in in the afternoon. Great job. Thanks for the food.”
“Arkie's ambiance is a true old time honky-tonk type bar. It's NOT for those barely over 21looking for Appletinis or Kale smoothies with a shot of liqueur in them. An Arlie's evening is like traveling back in time right and stepping out in your favorite country song. The prices are on the low end and the patrons know each other by name. Expect to wait a bit to sing on Karaoke night as the rotation can be quite lengthy. With the right attitude, you're sure to have a memorable experience.”
“This is a very small little Ceasars place, but they get the job done in a very timely manner. The woman at working there the day I went was very patient and helpful. The pizza we bought was very good. The cheese pull on the pizza was great, and the toppings tasted fresh. I will definitely go back to this pizza place. I recommend it.”
“Chester's Chicken locations that are located inside old run-down gasoline stations always remind me of that beautiful hot hooker in a dark, dirty, scary alley. Where all the signs say danger, yet I am in a trance where all reasoning goes out the window. The beautiful golden crispy sight and smell of gigantic fried orangey chicken pieces put me in a trance as I walked thru the old, dirty run-down gasoline station. I went with the three pump, sorry three piece option. The sexy breaded fried chicken skin's surface was quickly broken by my teeth to expose the juicy, steamy flavorful white tender meat that immediately made me feel dirty for cheating on my diet. Many of my food decisions are motivated by that line in the movie, "Burn after reading." The scene where George Clooney's character says, "What the hell, live dangerously." That is the best way to describe Chester's Chicken gasoline station locations. It's not the greatest healthiest option, but man does it taste good!”
“First time there. The service was great. Super nice people. The sandwich was delicious to! Definitely go if you feel like a healthy sandwich. It's beautiful up here once you get out of town! Remember the wildlife isn't here to clean up after you. So if you pack it in pack it out. Thank you Cheryl KnoxVegetarian options: I'm a vegi so I can say lots of things to choose and pack your sandwich full”

“It's good for what it isVegetarian options: You have the choice to substitute black beans for beef and can add or take away any ingredient. At least you have options”
“Just moved to the area, it was my husband’s birthday, they really made us feel at home and the food was amazing. If you want a great steak and awesome service make sure you stop in. Can’t wait to go back and try other things on the menu! ❤️”

“Cute local cafe and shop. They have coffee, drinks and wine with a selection of various baked and kitchen goods. Very friendly team that remembers people and takes time to connect with customers. I frequently get lattes and they are consistent. Great service and very clean with a warm atmosphere.”
“I go to Ewings atleast once a month and I was so excited when I found out they hosted events. I had my wedding in the back room last night and it was just BEAUTIFUL. They really did a good job decorating the back room for events. Patty was such a help to me and making sure I had everything I needed, the food is ALWAYS amazing, and staff is always the nicest. Bradlie was my server for all 40 people and she did absolutely amazing.”
“Always a fun night. Love the saloon vibes. Owner and Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Weekend food choices are good and filling, and convenient for a night out for karaoke. Turkey melt with Ortega was great for our dinner. KJ was fun and knowledgeable and the sound system was on point. Crowd was awesome enjoying each-other's performances, and cheering on the singers. Looking forward to our next trip already”
“The food does not disappoint!Come with room in your belly because they feed to fill. Never skimpy. They don't use beans and/or rice as a filler, meat will be the majority of what you order. I think they said once to my bf that If he can eat 2 full Don Sombrero burritos that they were free. Almost impossible. I recommend this restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, slide right up to a table”
“This main stay, in Santa Barbara, has the most eclectic and interesting crowd. The bartenders and waiting staff are extremely friendly and the customers are a trip. just my type of people. Be prepared to get a rideshare. Lol. For people who don't want the hassle of getting dressed up and being pretentious. It can be a most enjoyable outing. Definitely every time I go to Santa Barbara I try to stop there as long as I'm not driving lol.”
“Quaint little dive on the main drag through Kernville. The parking lot is tiny. They have a stage and live music a few times per year. Used to have a nice house band that kept the place popping until one of the members flew the coup and they dissolved. The bartender was friendly and talkative. The owner has put the place up for sale in case you're interested in owning such a gem.”
“Great beer, great music and good food. Very friendly staff. Nice local community who are very friendly and like to chat. Only spent a short time in the town but this was our favourite spot. Highly recommend it. Wish I could of taken more Sequoia Red home with me.”
“Found a new favorite spot for afternoon date lunches with the husband! Carne Asada burrito, shrimp tacos and the Spicy shrimp ceviche was excellent! Nice atmosphere! Employees were all nice!”
