A great place for a break. lakehead @ lake shasta located in Chevron on the north bound side of I-5 friendly staff and good sandwiches, as with any place.11am-1pm seems to be the busy time and a line can form. Most other times it's very quick.
I walked in to buy some diesel and discovered that I was standing in a subway. What a convenient surprise...I ordered a garlic aioli sub. The lady who sells diesel also makes subs.It was such a delicious sub... I could tell it was prepared with love, and care.I could taste that small town love in every bite.

Pretty good Subway. I got a lot of bacon on my BLT with double meat. No skimping. My son had a breakfast sandwich. All good.The staff was freindly. Bathrooms were kind of dirty and the gas was more expensive than nearby stations.
