Denny's in Lakewood

“The wall mural of the Parker’s Lighthouse and cruise ship with the canvas graphic design picture of Lakewood hanging on the mall really sets the ambience of the diner. The retro design of the bar stools and lighting fixtures adds the charm of the classic all American diner I always believe only exists in movie scenes.

I got the Santa Fe Skillet and added avocados and boy did it not disappoint!

The service was incredible and everything on the restaurant was spic and span clean as a whistle! I highly recommend!“

“The food is solid and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. However, the experience takes a hit when the female manager is on duty. She often takes over as cashier and greets customers with a noticeably unfriendly attitude. During busy times, she tends to be rude to both customers and staff. On my last visit, she handed me my receipt but didn’t return my change because she was too focused on loudly reprimanding an employee about seating arrangements.

In response to the owner’s reply they clearly did not read my post correctly. It’s meant as a negative review specifically for the female manager working weekend mornings.“
