“Went to Sam's Grill tonight, a long-standing restaurant in San Francisco. Fish is their specialty. I was not disappointed. I asked the waiter if I should order the lobster risotto or fish and chips. The waiter did not upsell, which impressed me. The fish was fresh and the batter was thin and crispy. The chips were good and the coleslaw was fresh.“

“What a matchday, what a great group of people. We stood up at 6 in the morning, met up at 7 and had a great time. Barkeeper pure class, 25 lfc fans, great atmosphere and a 9-0 win. You can‘t ask for more! For all the lfc fans out there: you have to visit this pub! It is worth it!“

New owners Joseph Wallace and Robert Lemons took over in 2021, ending four generations of family ownership by the Ferroni family. “Amazing place and people!!!! The manager, Candice, is so sweet and helpful! We got married at Deer Park Villa nearby and chose to have our after-party at Nave's after looking into multiple bars in the area. Nave's stood out to us over the others because of the friendly, casual, laid-back, and fun vibes! Candice made it so easy for us, helped us coordinate with Ghiringhelli's Pizzeria in town to have late night food there and ready for us when we arrived, and even let us bring our DJ and allowed him to set up his equipment and continue to play for all of our guests. We cannot thank her or Nave's enough for this! They even let us come back and do it all over again the next night! Some of our best wedding memories were made here this weekend. All of the staff and other customers were so friendly and welcoming to us! We definitely recommend Nave's for a wedding after-party or event! “The Ghirardelli Square is quite the busy tourist spot. But with shops and breweries like these around, why wouldn't it be? Tourists and visitors from all over the world have stopped by to visit this area and buy a beer or other refreshments to relax. Despite the crowds, the staff here are constantly busy but always polite and helpful to visitors, from what I've seen. The menu has a decent amount of drinks, at higher prices but to be expected in a tourist area. We spent an easy 2+ hours exploring the square, and would recommend stopping by San Francisco Brewing Co!“

During your visit here you sit and talk to locals as well as tourists on holiday from all over the world. This place is a whole vibe. Each bartender has a different personality and life story. The owners are absolutely amazing! Not a better place to have a drink or 20 on the planet.“

“Good music. That’s about it in terms of major pros. I usually come because the bar is empty at nights and I can bring a large group without worry of the place being too full but sometimes the bouncers will try to charge cover when the place is maybe at 5-10% capacity and I’m about to bring in 15 people all ready to buy shots. Not sure what kind of instruction they’re receiving but if Rockwell is empty and still charging cover there’s so many better bars nearby they’ll lose business to“

“Great place at the pier! I love the arcade! They have a quite small selection of prizes but the games are really fun! Definitely a must go for children. Prices are OK, i feel like some of the arcade games are a bit pricey but it’s fine. Staff is very friendly and overall a great experience. Food is good, they have a good menu and something for everyone. Defenitely recommend when around in the area. Also a good place to watch sports, they have large TVs.“
