It was another exceptional experience. The customer service here is friendlier than anywhere I can ever think of. They're always genuinely grateful to see you and serve you. I go there quite often and maybe that's why they remember me but I'm sure the service is always this friendly. And I haven't even got to the chocolate and ice cream yet...I can honestly say the iced coffee, and actually all the coffee I've ever had here is the best of any place that I've tried.
We always go there on the way home from bay area to stock up on chocolate squares
Always worth the drive. We love going here for a treat from time to time. Great service and amazing ice cream.

Ghirardelli | Chocolate Outlet & Ice Cream Shop is a nice little chocolate shop. It looks huge from outside, but it is a rather small shop. The store has a good selection of Ghirardelli chocolates and lots of chocolate candy choices. It is not cheap; prices seem kind of high for an outlet shop. However, they usually have deals going on if you buy more chocolate. Staff is friendly and helpful. They make pretty good shakes and delicious milkshakes. It is also a typical Ghirardelli ice cream counter. They have amazing coffee, and a caramel iced latte is worth the $9. For ice cream, a personal recommendation is to get the small instead of the regular, and ask for light fudge so it does not overwhelm the ice cream. The banana split is good to share for 2 adults or 3 kids.
