?? MYANMAR (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - Not afraid to use the ingredients that are unfamiliar to western palates and make Burmese food unique. Exciting new opening!

Delicious flavors! I've been on the lookout for Burmese places locally ever since discovering Burmese food in NorCal a few years back. So happy to have this new place nearby, rather than having to drive to OC. Mandalay Eats has a great selection , yet there are not overwhelmingly too many choices. The tea leaf salad was very satisfying. Mohinga is the ultimate comfort food. Can't wait to try more items! This is a pick-up "ghost kitchen" for pickup/delivery only. The entrance is on Hawthorne. You can order online or on site using a screen. You can probably call as well. The owner Mimi is very lovely!

First time trying Burmese food. Good, interesting flavors. Somewhat familiar when compared to other, more popular cuisines from the region but still distinct. The location is not a traditional restaurant. It's a ghost kitchen setup where there's a constant flow of food delivery drivers coming in and out, but there is a little bar seating setup with about 6 stools, so you could eat here as I did with my family. The owner is such a nice lady.

I've been craving the rainbow noodle salad for a long time. I used to go to a place in my hometown that ended up closing down due to Covid. But Mandalay Eats has more than made up for my cravings. Tea Leaf Salad: light, delicious, and just the perfect amount of tart. Would definitely get again Rainbow Noodle Salad: delicious and a huge serving size. Definitely plan on becoming a regular here. The food is delicious and satisfying. And reasonably portioned for the price.

Finally Burmese Tea Leaf salad close by! So excited! It was wonderfully refreshing, lemony and crunchy. It came mixed and appetizer size but I'm not mad about that because I also got a noodle dish. It's egg noodles with thin slices of meat and a small cabbage with red spicy sauce (not spicy at all but good for me), that I mixed in. Loved it too! Got their tea with condensed milk and it's not that sweet so perfect meal ending. Can't wait to try all their menu items!

Really tasty authentic food, haven't had Burmese food in a long time. Really aromatic and satisfying. Look forward to returning to try the other dishes!

Gorgeous food that time traveled with us back to our our first vacation as a couple. We were enchanted by Bagan and ordered tea leaf salads regularly. Thank you, Mandalay Eats, for building on those memories. Colorful, well-portioned, great value (financially and otherwise).

Amazing food! The food can't get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to online food order.

Wow! This place is amazing - it is a Cloud Kitchen whereby you order on their web site or call your order in. It is the most authentic Burmese (Myanmar) food that I have tasted and made with a lot of care, passion and love. I went to their "ghost" kitchen" by chance as I was driving by and happen to meet the chef and owner of this amazing place and I was blown away with the Mohingha, the Burma Fries made with chickpea tofu, potato triangles and the tea leaf salad. I have to return and also try all their other dishes that remind me of Myanmar. The food has a savory, tangy, and aromatic flavor that hits your senses with your first spoonful. IF you like Thai food and Indian food - you will love Burmese/Myanmar food! I chatted with the owner and discovered that I had been to his amazing restaurant (called River Front Restaurant in Bagan 4 years ago while visiting Myanmar and it was packed with customers! This gentleman and his family fled Myanmar after the Military coup and he has recreated the amazing food dishes from his native country.

So far, 5 stars! I ordered Nan Gyi Thote with rice noodles and it was delicious. Tasted just like home. I plan on trying other dishes from here and buying some for my Burmese family as well. Ordering on their website- very easy, you receive a text of your order and when it's ready Picking up- also easy, you check in which restaurant you ordered at on the iPad, confirm your order, and the locker opens up Parking- easier to go with somebody so they can park in the red zone and turn on their hazard lights. There isn't much parking but since you're just picking up your order from a locker, it's fairly quick.

Such a gem in the south bay. You don't normally see Burmese food here but quite a nice find and you will not be disappointed. Call ahead or order through Grubhub/Doordash/etc and pick it up in the lobby when you arrive. Some recommendations but really all their dishes are amazing:1.) Lemongrass Fish Chowder (Mohinga)2.) Rainbow Noodle Salad3.) Pork and Mango pickle curry4.) Burma Fries

Wow! This place is amazing! I never have had Burmese food, and I was blown away by the flavors. It’s the perfect mix of Indian, Chinese, and Thai flavors that all work together for an amazing dish. I had the beef curry, and the rainbow noodle salad. Both dishes were tasty but the beef stole my heart! I will definitely be coming back! Mimi and Patrick are wonderful and make you feel apart of the family. Keep up the good work guys!

This place is a hidden gem that recently opened in Lawndale. The food is a magic mix of Indian, Chinese, and Thai that creates the most incredible dish. I had the beef curry and rainbow noodle salad. The show stopper was the beef curry, which was something that I have never tasted before. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu! Thank you so much guys!
