We stopped for Lunch on the way North from Los Angeles area as we were heading back home, decided to take a short break from driving and have a sit down lunch so we chose Denny's. The location was about half full when we arrived and we were seated immediately, and were help by the waiter as soon as we sat down, he was extremely quick with the drinks and checked on us throughout the meal. I stayed at a hotel next to the restaurant. The hotel serves "breakfast" but I had it before and I got a stomachache. I did not want to get sick again, so I went over to Dennys at 5am. There was a handwritten sign: Closed from midnight to 5am. I stood there and waited for someone to unlock the door. About 5:13am, the door was opened. Remember the $1.99 Grand Slam?
