“Absolutely fresh and amazing food — and the sweet drinks are a real standout! I initially thought it would be Mexican food, but I was blown away by the unique flavors of Salvadorian cuisine. The pupusas are the best — fresh masa bread filled with cheese and other ingredients, very similar to Indian paranthas but inside corn/masa flour bread.

The variety of sweet drinks is just so unique — from cashew and mango to strawberry and other traditional Salvadorian fruit drinks. It’s incredible how they’ve maintained that authentic, one-of-a-kind taste.

We got the novelty of enjoying an authentic restaurant experience right at the top of Tejon Pass. And to top it all off, there’s a wild poppy bloom happening right now. We felt so lucky to have stumbled upon this place.“
