I ordered the Tri-Tip Sandwich and it was delicious, one of the best BBQ sandwiches I’ve ever had, large and filling with excellent fries on the side. I wish I could have eaten the whole meal!

Wow! fun staff, very personable, great food. We ate there 3 nights in a row after hiking yosemite during the day. our motel was right next door. BBQ was good, and hamburgers were out of this world! Not a huge menu but the food was prepared well and was good, and lots of it! Desserts were yummy. We got one with huge chocolate cake and ice cream...DANG, it was AWESOME! We also noticed how hard everyone works in this town. we met the employeed at different times working in local gift shops and the gas station. Good, small, local businesses like these need to be supported. The town isn't glitzy but its charming and fun, and the people are all nice!

My wife and I stopped here after driving through Yosemite via the Tioga Pass.
After being seated, we realized we had eaten at Bodie Mike's about 25 years earlier on a similar trip with family from the east coast.
The food and service we good both times.
We enjoyed the soup and salad bar that came with the meal as well as the warm bread. This time we split a combination BBQ platter and everything was tasty.

Good service, but sorry to say I have to agree with others here about the food. Pretty tasteless. I had the chicken sandwich, which seemed like a piece of uncooked tofu covered in cheap bbq sauce.

Really great place. Food tastes homemade. They do have a separate part of the restaurant for the Saloon. Very nice and cozy.
