Great quite place. View of Mono Lake from the porch.
This little gem on the shore of Mono Lake was a great find for our overnight before heading into Yosemite. Price was appropriate for what it is, the rooms are very clean and cozy. It’s not glamorous but the beds are comfy, the rooms are very clean, and the views are stunning. Pic provided was sunrise from the front door of our cabin.

Some rooms provide lovely views of Mono Lake, with a beautiful sunrise visible from the windows. While there may be some traffic noise from Hwy 395, it quickly becomes background noise, and a good pair of earplugs can help ensure a pleasant night's sleep. The staff is friendly, and the manager is approachable. The lodge is surrounded by greenery and has a peaceful park-like setting, making it feel like an oasis. There are benches for relaxation and socializing, contributing to a calm atmosphere. Some rooms come with portable AC units for added comfort, and the lodge's setting includes a small waterfall on the property. Although there may be minor issues like small and cramped bathrooms or limited furniture in some rooms, the overall experience remains positive. The lodge serves as a convenient home base for outdoor activities like hiking and sightseeing, being close to the Tioga entrance of Yosemite National Park. While the absence of a restaurant on site may be a downside, several dining options are nearby. Guest rooms do not have strong Wi-Fi, but the main lodge's Wi-Fi can be accessed from the front porch. Overall, Tioga Lodge provides a pleasant stay with beautiful views and friendly staff, making it a good choice for those looking to explore the scenic and recreational areas nearby.
