Love this hidden gem among the Livermore wineries. Super yummy red wines. Very personable staff. They treated us like old friends, even when we were there for the first time. We will definitely be back soon. I have wanted to check out their Comedy Night on the first Friday of every month and their summer family movie nights, but haven't had a chance to get back there yet. I wish I lived closer. I'll be back when I can. Special shout out to our server, Marion; Jody, who also chatted with us and helped us; and Kristina, the tasting room manager who went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing experience. Thanks to the 3 Steves, Marion, Jody, and Kristina!

Very nice winery, good wine , very pleasant staff. Excellent setting. But as to wine tasting, extremely stingy on tasting, quite disappointing. Minimal server pour was unlike any other winery we have visited in the Valley. Perhaps because we were using the LVA Wine Passport, not paying the $50 for the two tasting fees.

fabulous, just fabulous. I went here for a friend's bday and the wine tasting was the best experience ever! Every person we talked to truly added something special to our experience, whether it was information about the wine, an extra pour, or local restaurant suggestions. We even got to chat with Steve himself! Jodie ("not Steve," as her nametag clearly stated), was a gem of a host and we shared so many laughs. Super excited to come back for the wine club pickup!

A little underwhelming. Wines weren't that great and although our server was friendly, she didn't have much to say about the wines and got sidetracked and lost where the two of us were in our respective flights (despite not being very busy). If you do go, I would recommend sitting outside - we sat inside and it was a bit dark and cold. It looked like there was a decent patio with good views.

First visit, and absolutely amazed! Incredible views and our host Carroll was an amazing host! Definitely coming back for the great wine, atmosphere, and heartiness! Thanks Carroll!

Dog friendly and welcomed here! After a hike I was looking for a spot my pup and I could relax at. I love that they are friendly to dogs inside and out (on leash and well behaved). The staff was beyond friendly, views were stunning and relaxing, wine was on point and oh, they had tv for the game in case you needed that! Tasting change, when I went it was a mix of rose, white and red at $25.

Let me start by saying that I work at a winery and have some high standards for what I expect. I've been to 3 Steve's a number of times before and have never left disappointed. However, this time today was above and beyond like you wouldn't imagine. Let's start with our tasting room associate, Lisa. So kind and accommodating over the phone. She did our online reservation so that we didn't have to, granted today was a Monday and that might not be so easy for her on a weekend, but that wasn't her job to do, it was mine. Secondly, she cleaned up a beautiful spot for us post-rain (January) and then my family decided on a different table with another view. She then offered to clean that up for us too, and insisted. We had family from out of the country here to see what California wine country was like and you can't beat the view here at 3 Steve's. Just phenomenal, on the highest "peak" (if you will) in all Livermore. They accommodated kids, a toddler, and dogs (not our dogs but other folks') with open arms, smiles, and even high fives. My sons great-grandmother from South America wanted to meet the owner to thank him for the hospitality and great wine and before I could even ask for him to come out, there he was, practically the last remaining Steve, to greet and chat with us for a while. I couldn't have been more ecstatic with how the day turned out. I even got to meet and chat with their winemaker who shared a special little taste of an upcoming release with me. If you're thinking 3 Steve's or some other place... stop thinking. Just go here, disappointment will not await you!

I had a lovely afternoon on NYE visiting 3 Steve's Winery and Charles Brandy was informative, courteous, and friendly. They have a sparkling, a buttery Chardonnay, and the remaining wines are reds. The sparkling, and whites were my favorite as well as the rosé. Charles was a wealth of knowledge and knows his stuff about wine. The staff is friendly, and outgoing. The owner Steve and his son Jayson are the best. I feel at home and well received when I come. Ample parking, they have food trucks on sight, check their website to see which food truck will be on site, monthly events, wine memberships, and they're dog and kid friendly.

Visited during the busy Christmas holiday week. No reservations but we were able to be seated for the tasting anyway. Had a few waits in between wines since it was so busy. Several people tasting standing at the counters. Friendly service and nice indoor seating made it all a good experience. Our little pup also enjoyed meeting the friendly winery dog, Cooper!

This winery is a hidden gem! We had a nice time sitting outside on the patio overlooking the rolling hills and vineyard. The patio is shaded by industrial strength umbrellas that can withstand the wind. We made reservations but they also accept walk-ins. The wine tasting fee was $20 and the wine was delicious.

Actually the best winery in Livermore. The nicest people (this is a universal local consensus) making some truly great wine. The releases are inventive and appealing, best enjoyed with the beautiful view at the winery itself, and amidst truly kind and lovely company.
