Usually would do 5 stars, because as pedestrian and a bit run down as Donut Wheel appears, they are the best donuts in the Bay Area, and we try every donut place we come across. Where else can you get something 24hrs? If you're lucky you just might get to try the donuts when they are hot and fresh. There's nothing like a hot fresh donut, and nobody in the bay makes them hot and fresh.

Nice folks working there. Good classic doughnuts. Available later hours too. Very reasonable prices. Simple atmosphere with a few tables, not really a place to sit and hang out. Come and get your risen doughnuts and eat them in your car on the way home.
