Hanabishi Japanese Cuisine

This place is a relatively new discovery and I'm so glad we tried it. We've been twice now and both times the sushi rolls were delicious. I appreciate the good size of the specialty rolls and not as expensive as other places. It makes sushi night an option more often.

The server was great also, we enjoyed talking with her about Japan both times we've visited.

I just ordered a bento box from here and a godzilla roll and I absolutely do not recommend this place.

The fish was not fresh and it smelled, the beef teriyaki was raw, the tempura was greasy and soggy.

I do not recommend this place!

My first time at this great little restaurant. Surprisingly the food was great and the customer service was even better. A small out of the way Japanese sushi restaurant that was quiet and quaint. I’ll be coming back here again!

This is the best sushi spot in town. It's a family owned business and you can tell they take pride in the food they serve. The fish is fresh and the rolls are beautiful. I highly recommend the tekka, Hawaii, spider roll and the Kevin roll. The bento boxes are amazing. The teriyaki beef is delicious. Their udon is so good, the broth is perfection. The owners are so nice and you'll feel right at home when you eat there.

Came here for Dinner one day and was ignored for about 15 minutes standing there in view. A couple came in and stood behind me for another 10 minutes before we were addressed. "Sorry we cannot serve either parties as we only have one server". Awesome ?

Good food

A nice family restaurant with authentic Japanese food. If you don't care so much about the decor and more about food, it's a great place.

Parking: In Livermore by Stanley. Nice area.

I really enjoy this place. I have been getting food here for many years. I am never disappointed. As a teenager My daughter called the king California roll “heavens perfect food” and it is something I almost always order. The Teriyaki chicken is great and the tempura is another item we often order. My husband and I usually order a combination plate for him and some sushi for me and then share.
