Absolutely delicious, one of my new favorites. This was our second time here. The spicy eggplant is a standout, along with the crispy salt and pepper tofu, Dan Dan noodles, shallot noodles, and bao buns. Sparkling water in a dispenser and lots of other beverages choices. To-go containers are easy access but you probably won’t need them!

We went to this place for lunch. Very limited options. We ordered 4/5 different things. Popcorn chicken had extra salt. Pancake had no flavor. Dan Dan noodles with peanut butter sauce?? Like how? And my colleague had upset stomach after. Very disappointing food.

I’m not very adventurous when it comes to food, but I loved all the things we ordered here! Shallot noodles were so tasty! Also loved the crispy dumplings, beef roll, and green beans. Will be back again soon! So happy to have them local.

Stop in … don’t walk by.I’m not a “new age” or traditional Taiwanese person so I’m dinging them a bit on the stools and music that’s a part of the atmosphere… but the food is EXCELLENT and downtown Livermore convenience is hard to beat. This place is great!Popcorn chicken, Garlic Rice & Spicy Dumplings … so good!

This was our third time here in two weeks. I am from Taiwan originally so I was so excited to see a new Taiwanese restaurant opening up in Livermore!!! But I reserved my enthusiasm before I tried the food because most Asian places are not so authentic because they Americanize themselves too much by adding too much sugar or soy sauce. I was pleasantly surprised the foods were fresh in generous portions, the flavors are mostly pretty authentic.We have tried the Taiwanese beef noodles, the Taiwanese Fried Chicken steak, the Beef Bao, the Beef Roll, the Sweet & Sour Ribs, and dan dan noodles. Everything was great especially the Fried Chicken, which was lightly battered and tasted quite fresh and not overly greasy. Both noodles were In generous portions and can fill you up. The dan dan noodle was a bit sweet and not spicy enough for me (that may be tailored to American taste). Other than that, I was happy. That’s why we went back three times in two weeks.The place is brand new and they keep it clean and nice. The decor is pleasant and minimalist and for a lunch place it is perfectly fine. I would like to see a bit more layered textured decor and ambiance for dinner. But it’s an eatery so it’s fine.I highly recommend this place for those who enjoy of like to try a bit more authentic Taiwanese/Chinese food than typical Americanized Chinese dishes at Panda Express or China Garden. ?
Great experience overall. Forgot to take photos but the food was plated beautifully which was pleasant and unexpected considering the casual order up front atmosphere. All tasty and some unique versions of Taiwanese classics. Will definitely be back to try more items and look forward to giving them five stars.
