Great sushi. Stereotypically next to a pet shop, this is the kind of joint where the owner makes all the food. Make sure to ask if a special is nigiri or maki. All good stuff.

My experience with Sammy Sushi was a culture shock. I went there for lunch with my 20th old baby after reading the rave reviews. There was only one customer when I walked in, but I sat there for a good 5 mins without anyone talking or greeting to me. I ordered a 123 roll and another roll which I was told there would be 4 big pieces for each roll, quite surprising to me because most places would offer 8 pieces. The guy insisted that they are HUGE so I didn't ask too much. 10 mins later, I receive 1 tiny plate where 8 tiny piece of sushi were served, a few of them looking like to break apart. I was shocked, and looked at what they were serving at the next table, which is twice the portion.and also comes with a free miso soup, I realized Imight have walked into a restaurant that only value WHITE customers. Very sad.
