Very ordinary food
I’ve never been to a library cafe, but wanted to try it when I was studying at the library. I had their chicken chipotle wrap and was impressed with how delicious it was ! I definitely would get it again. I’ve also tried their strawberry banana smoothie and iced vanilla chai latte. All exceeded my standards. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
Great cinnamon bread and latte
The staff is lovely, the coffee is fine, and the sandwiches leave a lot to be desired. I had the worst chicken salad sandwich- just chicken pieces coated in Mayo and mustard, with normal sandwich toppings on bread that fell apart. I love that this Cafe exists but wish they served better food.
I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich and got something weird. No line...took 15 minutes.Turkey looked and tasted like tuna (canned), very little avocado. Only peppercinos and red onion. I ate it because I was hungry. Very disappointed.
Convenient place to stop and get a smoothie
Seriously, the NICEST guy running this place I asked him to make me something off menu he did, walked the drink out to me then said to please let him know if I want it modified, you can tell he genuinely cares about ensuring you have a great experience. I could also tell they have a lot of regulars he knows by name and was asking about events happening for them personally. If I weren't rushing off to meet clients I would happily have just sat there awhile and enjoyed the scene because it was truly one of the nicest places to just "be" I'll definitely go back!

My friend and I have been lunching here after our library meetings for years. I feel a friendly small town vibe where you can say hi to people or just relax on your own. We always have the breakfast sandwich! It’s our tradition. And it’s always great. I love the staff especially owner Henry , who leads the staff to create a welcoming place.

Over priced, slow service and unreliable quality. I had one good drink here and poor experiences since. Prices have also gone up significantly with even small breakfast sandwiches priced over $10 (English muffin size). They also stop serving food well before their posted closing time (more than 40 minutes ahead of close), with no warning. Which was disappointing and unprofessional.

This cafe has become one of my favorite coffee shops. You can sit inside or outside, there are toys for small kids to play with and the service is friendly and kind. There is a nice variety of 'to go' type breakfast items, pastry and lunch items. There is a large selection of speciality coffee and smoothie drinks. It is directly connected to Livermore Public Library, Civic Center.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and there are often mom groups enjoying coffee while waiting for library story times and activities.
Wheelchair accessibility: Completely accessible.

I absolutely adore this place whenever I need a peaceful spot to focus and get some work done. The folks there are always so welcoming and the food and drinks are simply amazing.

The first time we came here we realized that the service was really slow. But the coffee and the food are worth the wait. Here is what I would recommend. If you are lonely or not in the best mood you should come here. Sure the service is slow but that is because they are trying to give you the best experience possible. Yet if you are really hungry or need in a rush this isn’t the best place. The atmosphere in this place is top tier. The outside and inside seating. The owner is also really nice and likes to make small talk. Overall this is one of my favorite coffee shops.
Kid-friendliness: If you come here with a kid don’t worry since they got you covered. They got books toys legos anything and everything your kid needs to stay occupied. They even have a little table in the back for the kids to sit at and play with the toys.

Overall the drinks were not good, the food was okay. Service was great though, but the atmosphere wasn’t for me. I was looking for a spot to do work for a few hours and I should have went to a Starbucks but wanted to support a local spot.Drinks ordered was the vanilla latte, tropical mango passion, and thin mint cookie blast. The vanilla latte tasted burnt, so I just tossed it. The tropical mango passion came with a cherry syrup, which I wished was advertised because I hate cherry, thankfully it was on the bottom. However, this drink was extremely sweet and tasted like artificial mango, so I didn’t drink much of it either. My husband ordered the thin mint cookie blast and that was also extremely sweet and just tasted artificial to the point where it was chemically. He was expecting something along the lines of a thin mint cookies shake. For food, we ordered the PSTA and grilled chicken caesar salad wrap. The PSTA was frustrating to eat because the poached egg, only one, wasn’t sliced and tossed in the middle. The prosciutto was small tiny pieces and covered a quarter of the sandwich. I was mostly eating a STA sandwich. The grilled chicken caesar salad wrap barely had any chicken, but the lettuce was warm and slightly crunchy, that texture was good.
