We had a great birthday brunch on Sunday. The staff was accommodating and gracious, especially our bartender (sorry fuzzy on name). Thanks for making sure we had a nice comfortable table inside away from the rain! We had fun and will definitely return.
Loved the view and outside seating. The menu had several options for brunch but there were some issues. Service was sub par as we first ordered the guacamole for a starter but the waiter looked at us like we were ordering off menu? Guacamole??? Oh you mean the chips and salsa and guacamole. Well yes, but the menu said guacamole. When he did bring the guacamole the chips appeared to have come from the bottom of the bag and part way into the salsa there was a fibrous piece of hair/material...
Upon arrival we were greeted by the host who proceeded to make a joke that was a little off putting and some people might have taken it as offensive. I'm sure it was his attempt at making a joke but its not the type of joke to greet 3 women with. The food was good as well as the service but this "greeting" just didn't sit well with us and influenced our lunch. I expected more from the Wente name.
