Great wines, friendly owners!
Great red wines and super friendly people in a fun atmosphere. Glad we are members there.
Amazing wine, entertainment, and staff.
I’ve been to dozens of wineries, and I can say without hesitation that this is the best one I’ve ever been to. From the moment you arrive, everything just feels right — the atmosphere, the wine, and most importantly the people.
Huge credit to the owners Rhonda and Harrison, and the incredible team, especially Parker, Chase and Michelle. Their hospitality, knowledge, and genuine passion for what they do absolutely set this place apart. You don’t feel like just another guest you feel like part of the family.
The wines are outstanding, the experience is unforgettable and the vibe is exactly what a winery should be.
If you are within driving distance and don’t make the trip here, you are 100% missing out. This place is special, and I’ll be coming back every chance I get.
Wood Family Vineyard impressed me right away. Two of their top three wines are excellent. The Cabernet Franc and their proprietary red blend were the main reasons I decided to join the wine club. The quality is clear and consistent.
What made the visit special was the people. Meeting the owner, who is also the winemaker, and her family added a personal touch. She is also a pilot, which says a lot about her drive. She and her sons were there, welcoming guests and setting the tone for the experience.
Every staff member was knowledgeable and genuinely warm. They clearly want you to have the best possible experience, whether you are new to wine or very experienced. You feel taken care of from the moment you arrive.
It was an outstanding experience from start to finish at Wood Family Vineyards. I am looking forward to coming back for future events.
Great wines and service
I visited for a wine tasting. It was the friendliest and most enjoyable experience I have ever had at a winery. We spent a wonderful Christmas Eve here. The staff provided detailed explanations for each wine, including the growing region and aging methods, and were very thoughtful, making sure we were comfortable throughout the visit. I especially enjoyed the Zinfandel and the Merlot. I wish this winery continued success.
OMG. We (out of towners) barged in when they were having an employee Christmas party. Instead of turning us away, they invited us in for a short free wine tasting while they set up their party. We met Rhonda and Michael. They were so warm and welcoming. We talked to Rhonda a lot. So sweet. We tried the GSM, the petite syrah and the cab sav. They were all REALLY good but we loved the GSM and had to buy a bottle!
We have been members at Wood Family Winery for a couple of years now. If you’re looking at being part of a community, who know their wine and take their knowledge of wine making seriously, you’re in the right place. Second/or equal to their wine is their incredible staff, who’s more like family! Every single staff member is not just knowledgeable about wine and their varietals, but they genuinely care about you having the best experience at the winery, whether you’re a novice or an expert.
Their events make this place even more memorable with the numerous member only events which make your membership worth every penny.
After having visited numerous wineries in Napa which are too snobbish, after charging $60 a tasting, this family owned, woman-run winery is the perfect example of hard work, labor of love and sheer grit and determination to serve their members and guests with the best wine and hospitality. Believe me when I say this - they’re genuinely happy you’re here! ❤️
We have been consistently visiting Wood Family since 2019. My wife and I go there for our weekly date night every Wednesday evening. We go on Wednesdays as that’s one of their live music nights. We enjoy hearing local artists play and sipping excellent wine while we do. We love all the staff there and have fun visiting with them during each of our visits as well as visiting with all of the other regulars. There isn’t a wine on the menu I dislike. Our personal favorite is Muy Bueno, one of their Zinfandel wines.

A big shout out to Jill at Wood Family Vineyards for her outstanding dedication in ensuring that the conclusion of Phill’s 85th birthday celebration was nothing short of perfection. That’s how hospitality is supposed to be done, 5 stars! ⭐️

Sat at the bar.
$20 tastings. Staff was friendly. Heavier on the red variety. I believe only tried one white.
Limited parking in the lot. We ended up doing street parking.
Introduced to this spot by a friend and it's a new favorite! They are open later than most other wineries, and they have live music frequently, and they host a variety of events and activities. Staff is friendly, knowledge, and lovable! Great crew. Usually an older crowd, but definitely welcoming to all ages. Oh and most importantly- GREAT WINE!!
One of the few wineries open on a Wednesday, dog and people friendly and reasonably priced wine flights. Chardonnay, cabs, Syrah, and Malbecs.
Amazing service. Maddy served us an enhanced experience for wine tasting, and was very personal.
