Walked in when it was half empty (not a big restaurant), took 10 minutes for us to get seated. Finally got seated, tried to get their attention with eye contact, but completely avoided us. Brought water to the table behind us that got seated AFTER us.
Absolutely terrible service.
First timers and didn’t wanna stay just from how bad the service was and the hospitality from the beginning.

I'm from Peru and I was craving Peruvian food while in California. I found this place based on the reviews and decided to give it a try.
I ordered the seco con fréjoles, and it was honestly amazing just like in Perú, 10/10.
The lomo saltado, though, didn’t really taste like a traditional lomo saltado. It lacked that classic flavor, so I'd give it a 4/10.
For dessert, I had the picarones, but they were way too sweet and covered in powdered sugar… they didn’t taste like real picarones at all. Definitely something that needs improvement.
I know it's not easy to make everything exactly like back home, but some dishes shouldn't lose their original flavor. A bit more attention to that traditional taste would really make a difference.
That said, the service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. I appreciated the overall vibe!

Very good Peruvian food. Seems more like a gourmet chef's take on Peruvian food more than authentic Peruvian food, but nonetheless it is very good. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to ask if my friend that are looking for a good Peruvian spot. The Lomo Saltado was really good. The steak was cooked and flavored perfectly.

Most greasy fried rice I have ever had, with chunks of dry, hard reheated chicken. Very expensive and not good quality. Good service though. No AC.

I had high expectations for your restaurant, considering the numerous positive reviews it has received. As a fan of Peruvian cuisine, I was eager to find an authentic representation of it. However, I left feeling quite disheartened.
While the restaurant's ambiance was visually appealing, I found that it lacked the unique charm and essence that I associate with Peruvian culture.
Our dining experience further soured with the dishes we ordered. The stuffed potato lacked the rich flavors I expected, and the slight sweetness was unexpected. The empanadas, traditionally baked in Peru, were fried and served with chimichurri, reminiscent of Argentinian cuisine. The absence of traditional Peruvian ingredients like olives and hard-boiled eggs was disappointing.
The main course, brace beef with beans and rice /Seco, was satisfactory but failed to impress. As for the dessert, the chocolate cake was terrible. Tasted microwaved . Its texture and taste did not align with authentic Peruvian desserts. The fudge was like a pudding. We had a bite and left it.
Overall, I regret to say that I cannot recommend your restaurant based on my experience. I am skeptical that the kitchen staff truly represents Peruvian culinary traditions.

Great place for group meet ups or just a solo meal. We went for happy hour which was great for trying various things. Although I prefer the dinner portions for the ceviche. The staff has always been very nice and patient when deciding what to order. I would skip the slider. It was good but there are other things on the menu to try.
