I love a good cocktail and find it very difficult to find one in this town (that's reasonably priced). I never thought that I'd be rating Alex's Bar as one of the best places to get a cocktail in Long Beach! They really know what they're doing and go the extra mile. I don't go to a lot of live shows anymore, so I don't frequent the place as much as I'd like to. Kudos to Alex and his staff for doing it right and not charging an arm and a leg. A lot of LB bars could learn something from this place.

Came here because this is where they filmed True Blood. The staff are super amazing and the bartender was able to make me a red blood orange style drink like the old True Blood blood orange drinks this bar served a decade ago.If you are a True Blood fan, this is an absolutely amazing place to visit, it's like being in the show. Even if you don't like True Blood the drink prices are great and the kindness and professionalism of the staff is top notch.Drinks at Fangtasia ?? 100000000/10 experience

Venue is really cool, the aesthetics are awesome. The drinks are expensive, but very good. Bartenders were on top of it. But the Karaoke sucked, and because of that, will never go back. We were at the bar for like 3 hours and saw the same five people sing three songs each. We signed up for karaoke at 8:30 and by midnight still weren't called, never going back. Bummer.

Came here for a concert, the acoustics were great and the people were very cool. It's a solid venue! Only down a star because the bartender to people ratio is slightly low and its basically a large room with a bar. Still great thoughh.

Drinks are fine, the service is great, the vibe is exquisite, but the live sound is terrible.For the love of God, cut the mid highs and turn the volume down a little bit. Your channels are unbalanced. We couldn't hear the guitar or even the drums over the organ and vocals! My ears are ringing and my head hurts.Vegetarian options: Pizza served outdoors can be made without meat.

Fun ambiance; parts punk, kitsch, retro and dive bar. Most people go here for the musical acts which tend to crowd the mostly standing room only space. Drinks are decent. You'll need tickets for nights with musical acts but may be able to purchase at the door, I didn't chance it and purchased ahead but had to download the DICE app to be able to use them. Will definitely come back if there's a band I think I might like.
