Went on a weeknight in mid-November and had a great experience. Both the beer and the bartenders were really great. They had three spontaneous(ly fermented) beers on tap, plus two more Belgian-style, and a quite a few additional options available for off-premise purchase, in addition to their standard styles, e.g. IPA, blond, stout. If I lived anywhere near here, I’d definitely be a regular.
Use to be on the Promenade in Long Beach. Now on Long Beach Blvd. Offering some of the best locally brewed beers in the Los Angeles area. Exceptionally good!
Casey is the guy you should ask for the best selection
Awesome beer with a super helpful and friendly staff!
A fun atmosphere, great bartenders, an assortment of delicious beers, pinball, and a pool table... All you need for a great night in Long Beach.
Men fought inside the bar and the bartender didn’t kick out the instigator (likely because they were friends)
Full story: On Tuesday, July 15th myself and a group of friends with a dog came for trivia. We had been having a nice time for about an hour when a man with another dog came up to the bar and this point, the two dogs introduced themselves. Our dog barked a couple times and we were addressing it with our dog. At this point, a second, unrelated man started arguing with the man with the dog accusing him that his dog always instigates fights with other dogs. Both dogs were calm at this point. It escalated to the point where this man swung at the man with the dog multiple times. With a man in our groups assistance, the men quickly de-escalated. The bartender returned and instead of addressing the men who were literally throwing punches at the bar, she told us we needed to make sure our dog was not barking otherwise we needed to leave. Since our dog had stopped barking, we decided to stay and finish trivia and at which point, we noticed the bartender chatting with the man who started the fight. I’m guessing she chose not to throw him out because they were friends.
I would not recommend coming to this brewery considering there is no consequence for fighting, which creates a deep sense of unease and significant safety issues. The lack of accountability made us significantly uncomfortable and is a major danger to the patrons of the bar.
Wow this place is a hidden gem! Come here for a nice beer on tap and then after go play the awesome arcade in the back! You got pool tables and darts and pinball and even an arcade machine that's a shape of a beer barrel 😂🛢️But this place got everything for awesome day or night!
Definitely worth a visit. Great beers and location. There are two other craft breweries around the corner. This one has the best beer, though. However, they are certainly worth checking out.
Beers are amazing! Great smaller pub vibes, good parking options on the block. Mickey, our bartender, made the experience awesome! Vibes are emaculate
Fantastic sours. Bought many bottles and the lady bartender was very nice. They're so hard to find. Enjoy! I also recommend wicked weed in Asheville, NC if you're ever around... ;)
