This place is a hidden gem that I wish had more recognition for what they offer. So many vegan sushi rolls and they're always so delicious, i crave it. I've brought so many family and friends to this place and we always leave so satisfied for both our bellies and wallets. The prices are reasonable for the value and amount of food you recieve !!! Huge perk is They're open late and I feel like that's rare in LB. the staff is always so sweet. I love this place.

It's my first time trying this sushi restaurant and everything was very delicious especially the Atlantic rolls(baked salmon). The service was also excellent. Staff who took care of us was so kind and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Vegetarian son took us here and we weren't disappointed. We ordered vegan sushi and regular seafood sushi, both were delish! I also got the spicy tuna bowl. It was very good! It had a good amount of tuna. Hope to try other things on their menu next time we're in the neighborhood.

Highly recommend. I'm new to California (from Colorado) and I'm gorging myself on seafood cause being landlocked I don't often get the chance lol. I got the Three Kings Roll and the Atlantic Roll and they were AMAZING!!!! The vegetarian/vegan options are amazing as well. The Vegan tenmpura bowl was stacked. Atmosphere was so nice and service was attentive!

LOVE BLUE BIRD!!!! The owner is amazing, his culinary creativity really shines through with his Thai Sushi fusion options like the Vegan Curry Shrimp roll (my favorite). Everything is SO good here. The service is excellent. We love sitting out front in the evening for dinner and enjoying our great neighborhood. The food is always fresh and made to order. As a vegetarian, I am so impressed with the vegan options here and always feel very safe ordering here. I have never been served fish incorrectly. I am trying to work my way through all the vegan options, but my absolute favorites to order are: seaweed salad (duh), crispy rice avocado, curry popcorn shrimp roll, red dragon roll. on a chilly evening the miso soup and green tea make all the difference. Ask Jon to recommend something, he is awesome. Love this place and love walking over, we bring friends here too and everyone agrees it is fabulous!! 10/10!!!

Tasty, fun rolls that are well-made. I appreciate that there is an entire vegan menu! The curry roll was our favorite - the sauce was delicious. I also got the vegan roll with the tempura cauliflower. It was good, but I felt like the batter could have had a little seasoning in it. Otherwise, a very enjoyable meal!
