Food was good and it came quickly. Exactly what we needed before a long flight. Giovanna was super friendly, sweet, and efficient.

From my perspective, The Boathouse restaurant has the potential to significantly enhance the airport experience by offering a unique dining option that reflects the vibrant and laid-back Long Beach vibe. However, it currently falls short of this goal due to a staff that seems to be short with their answers and lacks the warmth and friendliness that is characteristic of the local culture. This disconnect between the restaurant’s potential and its actual service experience is disappointing, as it could otherwise be a memorable highlight for travelers passing through the airport.

Moreover, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. The dishes lack the freshness and flavor one might expect from a restaurant aiming to capture the essence of Long Beach's culinary scene. Many items on the menu appear hastily prepared, lacking attention to detail and presentation. Compounding this issue are the high prices, which do not correspond to the quality of food or service provided. Travelers are often left feeling that they’ve overpaid for meals that are mediocre at best, diminishing the overall dining experience. This combination of uninspired cuisine, steep costs, and indifferent service undermines the restaurant’s potential to be a standout choice within the airport.

Giovanna made the absolute BEST Bloody Mary’s while we were waiting for our flight. I wish there weee gluten free options available on the menu. Giovanna was a well attentive server and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. Thank you!

Giovanna was absolutely amazing recommend the breakfast burrito and it was fantastic. I had a great time talking with her and other customers. Such a bright light and made my layover so much more fun!
