I was in California for the Punishing Gray Raven x Boba Guys collaboration event. Altough I really enjoyed my time in CA overall in that only few days I could be there, my favourite place I visited was Boba Guys on Long Beach. Everyone was so nice, glad they had a bit of time to chat with me as well. Thank you for the memories, also the special drinks were the most delicious drinks I have ever tasted, I'm really sad that they were limited. Anyways, definietly a worth to visit place if anyone travels around Long Beach!

One of my favorite boba spots! It has great variety and unique drinks. The boba is a bit on the chewier side. They have plant milk options that you can sub in if you want it dairy-free, and you can choose the amount of sweetness and ice for the drinks. There are also a couple caffeine-free options.
Drinks I tried and enjoyed: Rose Black Tea: 10/10 -- reminds me of Indian/middle eastern rose flavored ice cream and rose falooda Thai Tea: 7/10-- can't go wrong with this classic Ube Latte: 8/10-- delicious and sweet, also unique purple color Soul Mate Mint Lemonade (made with Yerba Mate): 6/10-- delicious and minty

Decent boba drinks!
My sister and I had high hopes for this place because they're a pretty popular chain. For a shop with the word "boba" in its name, we expect the boba to be nearly perfect but it wasn’t very soft. To be fair, they had just opened so maybe the boba just wasn't completely ready. Their menu is pretty wide, however, and they have a good range of flavors to pick from.
* Lychee Oolong Fruit Fresca: 8/10 - light and refreshing * Passionfruit Fresca: 6/10 - super sour * Mango Jasmine Fresca: 8/10 - subtle mango flavor * Boba: 7/10 - harder than we would've liked
The workers were really nice and accommodating when we asked to change our drink. They gave us a different drink that we chose and found it to be better. The shop is located near the outskirts of the shopping center and has a lot of seating.
Some drinks are better than others, but good service! :)
Parking: First 90 minutes are free in the parking garage

Did something change in the horchata recipe? Have been here several times and have ordered their horchata (plain, dirty, with and without boba) as it is my favorite drink, that is, up until recently- it doesn't taste the same now. Hoping you bring the old recipe back.
