Tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good. My favorite was the curry empanada. The ropa vieja one was OK too. The bread outside is really soft. Didn't really like the sauces. Also got a ground beef potato ball and I would say it didn't have a ton of flavor but the texture was really nice. The tres leches iced latte I unfortunately didn't like, and I love those other places. All the milk and sweetness was at the bottom and it was too sweet, but when I mixed it up, it mostly just tasted like burnt diner coffee so I didn't finish it. Glad I tried everything though.

They don't have restrooms for customers. Why do you have benches? We're paying $4.00 for a cookie without a restroom. I rather go to Porto's. Much more pleasant service and a better value.

I’ve had this on my list for awhile as a place to try since social media tends to rave that it’s better than Porto’s. It’s a really bold statement and I’d be happy if it was true!
However, this specializes more on empanadas and it doesn’t feel 1:1. My rating is based on just the bakery itself and not really comparative to Porto’s.
I ordered half a dozen of their empanadas, beef balls, Cuban sandwich, 3 guava rolls, carrot cake, and a tres leches latte.
The empanadas are okay and the sauce paired with it really helps carry the dish. The sandwich was also just okay and didn’t stand out. It was bland or tasted more like the pickles or mustard. The latte did not really resemble tres leches and is a bit on the weaker side and a bit watery. It felt like a regular latte mixed with condensed milk.
The staff did not pack my guava rolls and unfortunately I didn’t check since everything was packed and I didn’t want to open up everything. Since it’s a bit of a drive for me, I didn’t want to drive back. Kind of upsetting considering how much it cost for all the items which was approximately $70. Yikes!
Parking is ample since it’s located in a plaza and the inside is small and cozy.
Overall, disappointed about how this was overhyped.

kinda mid the girls working there were great, the food was alright the best thing was the sauces that came w the potato balls kinda bummer we only got one for the whole order, instead of one per potato ball like it’s advertised the sandwiches were small and a little lackluster. We got the Cuban and Choripan sandwich, they tasted the same. Maybe add more of the spread the use or meat. just lacked a little flavor. From the bakery we got guava-cheese and the banana pastry. Really nice, flaky, and on the sweeter side. Overall wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but good for a company breakfast or something

We were very excited to try this place after seeing it on Tik Tok and the food was good. We got over one dozen empanadas and a half dozen of the meat balls. The food was a little pricey but I never mind spending if the experience is worth it. What kinda killed it for me was the fact that we ordered a lot of food and they only gave us one of each of their dipping sauce that is meant to be eaten with the food. So a total of three dipping sauces. In my opinion for the amount of food we got, this is not nearly enough and when I asked how much to get more sauce they said it would be $3 more per sauce. That’s wild! If I can make a suggestion to the owner of this establishment it would be that for every half dozen of items purchased, the customer should get one of each sauce. So in our circumstance we should have gotten three of each sauce. Hope this helps!

Chicken curry empanadas are the TRUTH. Dulce de leche hot latte foam stood strong after a 15 minute drive across town (pics enclosed). Had a guava cheese pastry too that was decent, never tasted quava paste so strong! Could've used a smidge more cheese to balance it out imho. I will be back to test the other delectables, so many to choose from. I get why they went viral online.

My toddler took one bite, made an alarming face, gagged and said ow, as he spit up. He immediately stopped eating the cookie we had just purchased. I was excited to try this place because of the positive reviews of their baked goods. It was my first and will be my last time going. Inside his cookie was a sharp black piece of plastic about the size of a dime. If my son would have choked, swallowed or injured himself severely, I would be having a different conversation with this establishment. I am truly disappointed and will not be recommending this place to anyone I know. Please be careful eating here!
Definitely will try again. Service was amazing, Chantelle has great energy towards customers. The food and pastries were good too!
