Potato ball was very good. I’d come back and get
It again. They gave me 2 different sauces with it, which I thought was a nice addition. Staff wasn’t very welcoming though. Felt very transactional, so if you like that type of atmosphere, it’s perfect for you. Would I go out of my way to come here? Probably not.

Better than Porto’s food and service-wise (shorter line) the cookies would be better off without the cream filling they use. Without it, you’d be able to savor and taste more of the cookie flavor. And it made cookie soggy so removing the filling from cookie wasn’t a success
However, the place is small = less seating options to enjoy your food.
It’s more ideal for a grab-and-go

Came today had chicken empanadas and a chicken fried one the fried one was the best of the 3 I had all 3 packed flavor and seasoning will try beef next time as I always fall short with chicken empanadas no matter where I go the lemonade was overly sweet

Stopped in for my first time today because I know someone that says it is a better version of Porto’s and honestly I thought it was pretty great. They have a large selection of drinks, empanadas, sandwiches, pastries, and a whole bunch of other things. It’s a to go spot and everything that we ordered was ready pretty fast. It’s pretty small on the inside, so only a few people can be inside at a time, but the line seems to move pretty fast from our experience. It’s also attached to a shopping mall so there is a large amount of free parking right in front. I would definitely recommend and plan to be back in the future to try more items.

It’s a tiny place, I came yesterday to pick up only two things one cheesecake and a potato ball, two young ladies(cashiers) act like they did not know what I meant when I said I’m here for pick up, it wasn’t busy at all and only two people were ahead of me, the woman ordering in front of me took three hrs just to buy two empanadas, she kept asking the cashier if it’s best to eat it hot or cold? Cashier’s need to understand that they need to speed up the paste and not entertain people w 1,000 questions, my cheesecake was trash, and my potato chicken ball was delicious, but the customer service was awkward and terrible, felt like talking to two young teenagers that have comprehension problems, Thursday 05p 05/28/25

The food was so good and they gave great recommendations. Tried the iced tres leches latte, the Cuban sandwich, and the obra ball with beef. It is kind of tiny and not a lot of seating, but I was able to snag a table. I definitely want to go back to try more

Gluten-free fail. Those were the most greasiest, over fried empanadas I’ve ever had, not enjoyable. Stick w the regular empanadas.

Service was nice w lots of parking options! Empanadas were beautifully displayed but were okay as well as the potato balls. Good to try out when you’re in the area but not something I’d come back for personally.

I wish I had enjoyed my meal more. I wish I could say better things about this restaurant because I have been meaning to try it for quite a while. I've heard it compared to Porto's. It's definitely not that in anything other than the fact that they have a display case with food inside of it.
I will just give you a quick rundown. We got a beef ball, a Cuban sandwich, a Cuban empanada, a ropa vieja empanada, choripan sandwich, and a chocolate chip cookie. That was $45 which seemed pricey to us. Both empanadas were pretty flavorless and dry. I usually get ropa vieja at every Cuban restaurant I go to. It's my go to for judging how authentic a Cuban restaurant is. This was probably one of the worst versions of that I've tried. I also did not care for the Cuban sandwich although I will say it was fairly unique. The beef ball wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't like I've had other places. The flavor of the beef was very unique and the cheese was kind of a surprise. The chocolate chip cookie had the most potential, but it was just OK. The best thing for me was the choripan sandwich. It was really good. Best thing I've had out at a restaurant in a few weeks probably. That doesn't take away from all the other misses at the restaurant though. As you've probably guessed, we will definitely not be coming back. I hate to give it a negative review since everybody else seems to like this place.

This place is a gem. Great empanadas, for sure. Can't wait to try their sandwiches. May even get a pastry next time, if I don't feel like going a couple doors down to get an acai bowl. The space is a bit cramped, so better for take out.
