Dvine Mediterranean Experience

What a treat to find this place! My husband and I both had the falafel pita pockets... they were large enough that we could have shared! The falafel was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were excellent and the lentil soup was delicious, very flavorful. Our waiter was very attentive and the ambience was delightful... really enjoyed the tastefully vibrant decor. Will return!

I’ve been to about 3 D’Vine locations and none of them were like this one.
This D’Vine is one of a kind! The table settings were amazing. Beautifully marbled with matching plates and napkins sets.
The waiter by the name Victor served us and he was very kind. He served us complementary falafel AND complementary rice pudding with baklava!!
We ended up getting one appetizer and the Dubai skillet cookie and it was delicious!

The meat was heated up in the microwave, it was tough and dry, the salad looked like it had been sitting for 3 days, I decided to cancel the order, 3 stars, only because I wasn’t charge, I think they can do better!

The service was excellent! All of our servers were very attentive. Even though we had a large party, all of our requests were met in a timely manner! The restaurant was very accommodating for us!
I would visit again!

I was planning a get together for my son’s 21st birthday and he wanted Mediterranean food. I did some research to try to find the best food that would fit in my budget.
The experience:
Once I called DVine and spoke to Jesus, I knew I had found the right place. I called asking information on their catering options and ended my conversation with a confirmed order for 40 people. Jesus was very kind, patient, and helpful in answering my questions. I ordered beef shawarma, chicken kebabs, hummus, and cucumber yogurt salad. He was kind enough to throw in all the pita bread, sauces, and order of falafel, and grilled veggies on the house. Fast forward to Saturday when I drove to the restaurant to pick up my catering order. I walk in and am greeted by Jesus who already has a few surprises waiting for me. In addition to what we had confirmed over the phone, he also added baklava, fresh cut fruit, and rice pudding to my order. Such a kind gesture. As he’s bringing out the trays with the entrees, he points to the beef shawarma and chicken shawarma. I asked him if he said chicken shawarma to ensure I hadn’t heard incorrectly. He could tell by my expression that something was wrong and asked immediately if he had gotten it wrong. I said I had ordered chicken kebab, not chicken shawarma. He immediately made it right by saying, he’d have the kebabs fired up immediately and personally deliver them. He spoke to the cook and before I left, I could see that the kebabs were already on the grill.
After helping me load my car, he sent me off with the beef and chicken shawarma and assured me that he’d be at my home soon with my kebabs. Within 30 minutes of arriving home, Jesus was at my house with the hot and fresh kebabs.
My guests were so impressed taste didn’t disappoint!
The food:
The beef and chicken shawarma were very flavorful and juicy and the chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and succulent - not dry at all, which could be challenging to pull off with chicken breast. The sauces were a hit, especially the garlic sauce and the hummus was perfectly smooth and creamy. The pita bread was was not too thin and just thick enough to be the perfect vessel for the sauces and hummus.
I highly recommend DVine for both the service and quality of the food. Great find in Long Beach!

We have eaten at this wonderful restaurant, Dvine many times. They have great staff, incredible delicious and fresh choices of food. We wanted to have them cater our daughter's small wedding reception at our home. They didn't disappoint. We went there with a friend to try many different things so we could make a great selection for the reception. Their falafels are some of the best ever. We spoke to Jesus and he was so kind to provide us with extra samples of things to try (on the house). We ordered a lot of wonderful food for our wedding reception. Jesus delivered the food on time and the food was hot, delicious, and ready. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how amazing everything was. We will be ordering again for our next party! Great job! A+++

Oh my goodness...our new favorite place!
From the Falafel appetizer, Baba Ganoush, Labne, Hummus and Taziki to the Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Kabob, Beet salad and Tabouleh, to the Rice pudding and Baklava...All of it... so very fresh and flavorable with all those warm mediterrean spices! The Fried Cauliflower with garlic sauce is next to try.
The environment is very clean and inviting. The Owner and the staff are authentically friendly and helpful.

Incredible food and inviting atmosphere in a cutesy restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and a very fair portion for the price. A special shoutout to the manager, Jesus, who went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect :) Can’t recommend this place enough!

I've only eaten at a few restaurants that made me feel as though I accomplished something when I walked out. DVine is one of them. Let us begin with Hassan. A most righteous host. He owns the joint. Man, the food is fantastic. fresh. prepared with skill and care. Don't sleep on this one. Come and enjoy. The beets were deliciously soaked in pomegranate and date molasses. Refreshing after a long run. The grape leaves are slightly spicy. Surprising, and, sweet at the same time. The hummus was creamy, cold and seasoned perfectly. Taste nice with the soft flavorful pita bread served on the side. That's just a taste. You really should come check it out.
