This location has been a neighborhood staple since I was a boy. The chicken has been consistently well-cooked and flavorful throughout this time. Unfortunately, they have changed the recipe for their pico de gallo, which really was the only decent salsa they offered. This is a shame, because they had the best pico of any EPL location in SoCal. Came in to this el pollo loco expecting nothing crazy and I was mind blown by how sweet the staff was. Every single staff member welcomed and greeted me with a smile. The service was immediate, the staff were so kind, and the food was delicious. Even the pricing was fantastic!
