The 5 dollar combos at this Pollo Loco are singlehandedly keeping me alive. It’s the best bargain I can get on campus, a real bang for your buck kinda deal, ya know. And money is kinda in short supply, so I keep coming back here. Everyday, Monday thru Friday, I eat at this Pollo Loco. Breakfast, Pollo Loco. Lunch, Pollo Loco. Dinner, Pollo Loco. Take a girl on a date. Pollo Loco. I sleep and I dream of Pollo Loco. I don’t even taste it anymore. I can’t even say for sure if I enjoy it, really. I know I should just eat somewhere else, but the 5 dollar bargain just keeps me coming back. I keep myself locked in a grilled, carb-rich prison of my own doing, afraid of what lies beyond the great unknown. It’s at this point that I begin to wonder. Is the Pollo Loco, or am I the one that is Loco?

Food is good and affordable, service is consistently bad. When asking questions, the workers are unhelpful and would rather make you feel d*** for not knowing their menu than actually answer the question.
