Foundation Sandwich Shop Reviews
Solid sandwich shop. Came here cause I wanted to try anew sammy spot from my usual line up. There was no wait, they made my spicy tuna in a few minutes. It was toasted and yummy. They have a cute outdoor seating area. But we had to pay to park, which sucks... $5.50 lame.
Easily ordered online through yelp and they were ready by the specified time. I ordered 4 sandwiches. - 1 caprese sandwich and friend said the sauce and filling was bomb, but the bread was a bit dry. - 2 turkey avocado blts and friends said it was great! - 1 Mexicali chicken had great flavor! The pickled onions and sauce was great. It would be cool to have bread options but overall, my friends and I enjoyed it at our beach picnic.
This is a cute little place to grab food on your lunch while working. The lady who made my sandwich was very sweet and took the time to explain what's in each sandwich. I do have sensitivities to spicy foods so she accommodated me without any problems. I tried the MexiCal chicken sandwich with regular mayo and it was SOOO GOOD. I can't wait to go back. I wish I had take a pic but I devoured it.
