Over the years, my mom and I have enjoyed coming here. The outdoor dining is lovely — you get a beautiful view of the marina, the water, and the Queen Mary. Service has always been excellent. Unfortunately, the food quality has really gone downhill. Everything was overcooked — the shrimp were rubbery, the steamed broccoli was so soft and wilted it looked like it had been sitting out, the crab cakes were hard, and even the fish was dry. The restaurant was nearly empty during...
The Queensway Salad was great! Filled with shrimp, crab, avocado, blue cheese crumbles, walnuts and bacon. The only improvement would be to have fresh crisp bacon versus pre-cooked/packaged bacon. Waiter was attentive.
We had a wonderful experience. This is a beautiful restaurant on the water. The service and the food were both excellent. I had the lobster tail and I think it was grilled. It tasted great! My husband had the macadamia nut encrusted fish, and it was a very large piece of fish. We will definitely be going back!
