I recommend this place especially if you want to chill with your bff doggie 😉. There is plenty of outside space for you and your pet to grab a bite and relax!

Tried this place out during Stroll and Savor. Pretty good! They will also do food for parties. The creme brulee was truly delicious!

Babette's has closed. My understanding is that a new French bakery/restaurant will open sometime soon. It's really sad - they did have great sandwiches, bread and pastries.
I don't know how this place is getting any good reviews. We stopped by there for a quick breakfast and I got the rudest customer service ever. On top of being rude, the cashier was not concerned at all about upsetting her customers; it's like they don't care at all. I will never go back there again

I went to Babette's for years and years. When my kids came home from college we would go first thing. They loved all the different pastries and foods! We would stop in and get baguettes for dinners. Rolls for thanksgiving. Not anymore, all gone!!! Sad, just a donut and coffee now.

My family and I came here this morning for breakfast. Spent $40 on food and drinks. Tipped the staff on top of that bill. When my wife asked for almond milk or soy milk for her coffee they said it would be an additional 50 cents for milk. We had already paid and tipped them before we knew about the extra charge for milk. They REFUSED to help us out with a splash oh non-dairy creamer. Apparently, they care more about making 50 cents now than making a repeat customer happy! It's a shame that out neighborhood breakfast spot does NOT know the meaning of good customer service!

Haven't come here for years now. It's now become merely a doughnut shop?? I stopped coming here because the owner had a lousy attitude and was providing poor service to diners, although the unique pastries were really good. It appears he's totally ruined the place and turned it into a doughnut and coffee shop. How sad.

Cannot express how sad it is to see the sell off years ago and now the menu specials gutted. WE are all saddened by this "donut holing" of a once marvelous bakery! Oh, and they pushed sales up on donuts SKIP IT!!! All gone. Try Babette Bakery on Anaheim/Atlantic. Owners Elizabeth and Christian.
