The chicken is good. Let’s get that out the way. It’s just expensive. I got three wings and two sides for $17. The mac & cheese is inedible, taste like kraft. Would not recommend. Fries are cool.
Just expected to be completely satisfied for $20 take out.

I'm from Memphis ...where Gus's originated. I've had the chicken there so many times. I've also had it in several other locations around the country. The flavor is consistent because they fly the secret seasoning blend to all their remote locations daily or weekly. So that's solid.... BUT OF ALL THE LOCATIONS I'VE BEEN TO, LONG BEACH HAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST THAT I'VE HAS UP TO THIS POINT! I'VE NEVER HAD CHICKEN SO JUICY.... EVEN THE BREAST.......

Theeeee best fried chicken i ever had!!! The sides are all fire and that sweet tea, sweet like i love it! The chicken skin is so crispy its like chicarrones on top with a spicy kick i mean my is watering right now!
