Does anyone know if she has opened another teriyaki joint? THis teriyaki is one of its kind and no other restauraunt does it the same style... unless someone knows a similar place?

Lunch Special Teriyaki Bowl! A good sized meal for $6.60, I don't any other place can beat that. It came with teriyaki chicken, white rice, macaroni salad and regular lettuce salad. Chicken was not chewy at all, good flavor.

My reason to give a 2 star is because one of my orders was disappointing even though I buy from this business from time to time. I ordered Chicken and Beef Teriyaki and Shrimp Spicy Ramen. I ordered through phone, the cashier who took my order was an Asian beautiful lady who got my order correct, and the time was only 5 minutes left. The Shrimp Spicy Ramen was fantastic according to my mama since it was for her. HOWEVER, the Beef and Chicken Teriyaki was a little disappointing. There was more Chicken and less beef. What was the reason? It looked like someone was eating my order but only the Beef side. I don't post negative comments for attention seeking or to sound like a victim. This is because i spent my hard earned money for some food and I expect my order to look like how the picture is posted on the menu. We all work for our money and we all expect some type of perfection.

Sushi is delicious, but they actually close at 8:30pm not 9pm. The "open" sign was still on, I know employees want to leave early, but i want my tiger roll. LOVE YA'LL

Honestly what a hidden gem. It's not common to find sushi in South Gate and this place exceeded my expectations. It's nothing fancy, but that doesn't mean it isn't tasty. Also the pricing is affordable for what you get. The restaurant inside is okay, but the service and food make up for it! I'm definitely going to become a regular.

Big for 5-6$Rolls are filling but visually could be better and packed together tighter. (Sometimes you grab a roll and it falls off your chopsticks lol)Good food: the teriyaki chicken plate is great for the low / they have an awesome family pack. Lobster roll was good!Ok service: phone service is greatIn person Owner or managers are fixing problems with their staff in front of you which is unprofessional.Ambiance: 5/10 just a hole in the wall location that packs value and good food! Amazing, the only word to describe this teriyaki, is one the best places to experience it from. From being fortunate of growing up near by. You know when you travel to different regions are you tempted to try similar dishes. So far never found anything of the same caliber. Unfortunately, I always crave eating this teriyaki from where ever I might find myself at the moment.

I've been coming here for the past 2 years and I've never written a review. I love how you can call and place a phone order to avoid long lines. The beef teriyaki has so much flavor and it's so juicy. The salad dressing and macaroni salad compliments the teriyaki so well. They are so bomb! I got the #15 which come with a California roll as well. It's so fresh and you can taste the fresh ingredients. If you're looking for something quick and craving sushi then I would recommend this place.
