This restaurant use to be a staple in Long Beach but this is my 2nd time going in since the remodel and I’m disappointed in the service. Greeting was poor and just as dark as the atmosphere. The place smells and it’s barely holding on I’m sure due to the customer service.

I do not suggest this establishment to anyone. The ambiance was clean, but the building was quite empty. However, the burger was disappointing as it was soggy and the meat was of poor quality. It was overly salty and greasy, and surprisingly did not come with cheese, which required an additional payment. The meal itself was quite expensive at $14.99, and that did not even include a drink or cheese. The customer service was acceptable, but overall, I will not be returning. It is advisable to save your money or dine elsewhere. My first visit back to this place was a major letdown.

I have been to Johnny Rockets several times over the years. Usually, on my birthday, I have a BOGO offer. However, when I visited the restaurant recently, it was empty except for one table. I tried to use my birthday offer, but the cashier took a picture of the offer on my phone to ask her manager. Unfortunately, the manager wasn't there, and the response came back that they wouldn't honor the offer. I don't understand why. They gave some fake answer that I needed a membership card or something, but the email didn't mention anything about it and had an in-store POS code. Even the online sign-up just shows my email and phone number only, which I showed to the cashier as well. I have done this offer before, so it seems like the worker and manager just didn't care. It doesn't make sense that this deal still made them money: a free burger with the purchase of an entree and a drink.

It's Johnny Rockets, that's about all you can say. It is what it is and I only come here if I have to since for some reason my girlfriend like it's. There is defiantly a reason there are fewer and fewer locations around.

This Johnny Rockets disappointed. Going in there were not a lot of people. I placed my order and sat in what looked like a clean table. It was sticky. I moved to another and it was sticky as well. I noted that there were plates from customers that had left still on the tables. Waited for my order and the burger was ok. I don't believe I'll be returning as cleanliness is not a top priority. I'm disappointed as this used to be a fun spot.

I grew up in the 50’s, and there is no 50’s atmosphere, whatsoever. Bacon double, beef slightly greasy. No flavor to the cheese, as in why order it if you cannot taste it. Fries that come with it were disappointing. Soggy and limp. $15 to go.

Came to this location because there are not many Johnny Rockets left. When walking in, the place had a strong urine odor. Granted it is in downtown Long Beach. Ended up not eating here because the smell was so bad. I'm sorry but I wouldn't want to be eating where it smells like a public restroom. Disappointing...

Either permanently closed or abandoned. Went on a Monday night. Kinda looked closed from the outside, but the front door was unlocked so I walked in and there were no employees at all. Silent and eerie inside, so I just left.

Not sure why I should stand at the counter. With a worker walking past me multiple time without acknowledging me so I just walk out or even greeting me. I'm kind of glad I did the workers seem like they don't really care. Don't recommend base of service.

The wings I was served here were as good as any I have had. Large, hot and tasty....ordinary buffalo sauce on the side...they hit the mark. Good service too. Decent tater tots. I made it 3 people in the place at 10pm on a Friday. I'll be going back...maybe tonight.
