The rice was hard, the orange chicken tasted like it was triple-fried, the spicy beef tasted like it was cooked with ketchup, and the rice and noodles were flavorless. Crab Rangoon was frozen cold in the middle. Truly the worse Chinese food ever.

Best during the day time, maybe even dinner time, but late night you run the risk of getting served up old food. Now that that's out of the way, this place has decent potential. The food is actually pretty good, I always the orange chicken, Kung pow chicken, rice, and chow mein with some rangoons. It usually hits, especially when its on the fresher side, plus its open 24/7. Clubbing, bar hoppin, graveyard shift, you name it and this is your go to spot.

Went late at around 11pm on a weekday because the bf wanted to eat kathiew/huey tieu or pho and some pork intestine.
I've seen Khmer Town on Yelp and meant to try it sooner but was always wary about the neighborhood and didnt want to go alone.
Basic steam table Chinese food with some cooked to order options. The traditional Khmer foods were not set out on the steam table. We ordered the pho and pork intestines. The intestines are not red marinade and crispy style, but the phak lov braised intestines. It includes cuts of both the small and large intestines and served with fresh sliced cucumber and hoisin sauce.
Bf's pho broth was bland. Likely because its not commonly ordered at that time and didnt have adequate time to simmer. The beef was fresh and in good portion.
TIP: Order a full take out package of chow mein or fried rice if the steam table looks stale. They will fry up a new batch rather than give you whats on the steam stable.

Orange chicken was not edible. It was like it had been refried 3 times the chicken was like turned into almost leather. The Char Sui Barbequed pork was not fresh and probably was an artificial red from red food dye because the beef sticks were labeled as an ingredient red food dye.aThe beef sticks were not tender. The beef stew was super oily and the beef that you would think would be tender since it's stew wasn't.

I love this place is 24hrs! I had this 4 days in a row already π€£. I like this place because the orange chicken isn't hard bread balls like a lot of other places around. Thiers is nice crispy and tacky glazed not soupy or squishy.

I stopped by Khmer Town Chinese Food & BBQ in Long Beach and itβs one of those casual spots thatβs perfect when you want a quick, filling meal. The restaurant is simple and laid-back, but the menu has a big mix of Chinese comfort food and Cambodian flavors.
I tried a combo plate with fried rice and orange chicken, and the portions were huge. The food came out hot and flavorful, and it definitely felt like good value for the price. One of the highlights here is the roast duck, which many people recommend for its crispy skin and juicy meat.
Another cool thing is that the restaurant is open 24 hours, so itβs a convenient place if youβre craving noodles or BBQ late at night.
Overall, itβs not a fancy restaurant, but if youβre looking for affordable Chinese-Cambodian comfort food with big portions, Khmer Town Chinese Food & BBQ is a solid neighborhood spot.

This is a tucked-away gem in Long Beach. It's open 24 hours!! This has been my go-to place when I'm working 3rd shift. The food is always good, and I've never experienced any dry chicken or pork. It's always been a good experience when I have gone here. Is it swanky? No. Is it good food and friendly staff? Always.
