Best brewery in California, Frank Diaz
I stopped going for pizza after purchasing a pizza oven 1.5 years ago. I would go occasionally for their incredible sour dough for my pizza. Every pie I made got a little better. Last Monday we went for pizza and beers. I’ve come to realize their pizza is so much better than mine. Maybe I’ll figure it out in a couple years but for now I’ll keep coming for the taste testing. Atmosphere loses a star due to parents letting their kids run amok with no supervision.
We had a great time until other customers let their kids take over the upstairs and staff didn't do anything to address the disruptive behavior so we ended up leaving.
While they have great service, they overcharged me $15 on a drink that only cost $9. I only noticed after I got home and got the bank charge.
Variety selection of brew styles so you are not bored. Delicious baked fermentations make it worth your visit and if you are a pinball fan, it becomes a must visit for LB.
Food, beer and atmosphere is excellent 👌👌👌👌
This brewery is pretty awesome. They make their own bread and therefore their own pizza and other sides. We got the seasonal pizza, garlic knots and fries. All were excellent, especially the pizza.
The beer is also great. It looks to be seasonal as their tap seems to rotate with many different beers ranging from lagers to stouts to sours and ipas. The space has opened up to a new larger area where there's also pinball machines and games. Overall this vibe and upstairs is also very cool.
Staff is nice, tasty beer and the margarita pizza is the best. The pinball machines play great and very well maintained with change machine. It’s a must to visit if you’re in town.

A solid OK.
Fun building, cool to see inside of the beer lab. They have trivia and things.
Would not come here specifically for dining. Very limited menu. Ordered the margarita pizza which was said to be the best, it wasn't bad. Lots of crust. I order a side of basil oil, so much crust you need 2 sauces.
Service was Eh- just sufficient. You have to order at the counter, you have to go back to the counter to get your items, there are signs to bus your table and they still have a tip prompt when paying.

We love Long Beach Beer Lab, while the food menu is small it's always delicious, and they've got lots of great beer options as well as a few fun non-alcoholic options. They've also got pinball and Jenga. Always a nice time there!
Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegetarian friendly there are no meat products
Parking: There is a lot of parking around back

I went here for a singles event and it was an excellent venue. The location had a lot of room for games, seating, Arcades & had a fun vibe.
We ordered a veggie pizza and a cheese pizza along with their truffle fries and garlic knots. I also tried two or three of their homegrown brews and they were all pretty good. Complimented their food items.
I’d definitely come back here again. A solid brewery with tons of food options and lots of opportunities for socializing. Parking is a little tricky but worth the trip.

Pinball. Lots of machines for quarters, though I much prefer the free to play hourly/subscription all-you-can eat pinball format over at I Need A Miracle Tickets. Tournaments at I Need a Miracle are more fun and less crowded too.
Menu is small but pizza crust is great. Tad pricey but worth it if you crave quality sourdough crust.

Entitled people with dogs should have a separate section.
Tell your wives to stop looking at me. Remind them “your” doctrine validates your superiority.
Take your kids to the beach. Take your kids to the park. Take them to retro arcade if they want to play video games. This is a bar. It’s not a playground and it’s not a dog park. Nobody wants to eat your dogs and nobody wants to babysit your kids.
Your life choices are your responsibilities. Your burdens and toys are your responsibility.
We don’t owe you anything. Keep your selfishness to yourself. Stay out of the way.
